I don?t rate the carvery. No flavour. Most likely to reduce allergens. Also seasonings and herbs are personal preference so they probably do everything plain to suit everyone. The breakfast however is bloody delicious. Went for the first time and was very impressed. Eggs, sausages, hash browns, Yorkshire puddings, beans, tomatoes, bacon.. all of excellent quality and yummy flavour. I am itching to come back for breakfast!

Been coming here for years but I must be honest the last 5to 6 times it's not been great .but today WOW I just want to say ... worst breakfast I've ever had ..eggs where that greasy went to cut it .it ran around the plate .some of the bacon wasn't even cooked ..sauages over cooker and rank but on a good note beans where good ...safe to say this is the last time I will be going here

We got there 12.30.so expecting 3 fresh meats and veg... to our disappointment turkey was dried up hardly any left! No.beef no gammon!! Cabbage dried up parsnips rock hard hardly any cauliflower cheese all.in.all not acceptable for.so early!!! On top of that the.chef wouldn't give my friend a sausage! She'd come over from Spain.and was v disappointed to say least ... it wouldn't have hurt chef to put a sausage on especially as there was.only turkey on.offer for.full price of £10.49 disgusting I've got no reply from tobys!

Ordered a to good to go CARVERY TO COLLECT????
The google listing said you get a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings???
And when we got it home there was no MEAT in it and it was in the smallest of the round cardboard boxes !!!!
This was Sooooo disappointing
The House Martin's to good to go carvery is WAY BETTER you actual get some meat with your carvery and it comes in a BIG square plastic tubToby Carvery Edenthorpe

Our waitress was really nice and efficient cannot remember her name, I would give her 5 stars. The service from the carver is the reason for my drop in stars. I asked for beef and lamb and it was the end of the beef joint, as he was cutting the beef, it looked tender, however as I moved up the queue the end peice of beef put on my plate looked grissly so I asked him to change it for another peice, which he did, I didn't think it looked much better and when I started to eat it I realised the second piece of beef was just the same, hence then only having a slice of lamb and a bit of beef to eat. I didn't tell the waitress as she was busy and quite honestly complaining spoils the whole dining experience. I felt like I'd " complained" once about the beef and given the chef the opportunity to put something right which he failed to do.
On the way out I passed the manager on duty and decided to bring it to her attention, pointing out my plate on the table I had just left, her reaction wasn't great as she just looked at me and didn't make any comment, so for the second time my complaint wasn't addressed. I dined on Sunday 16th January at 3pm. I have a photo but cannot see how to post it on here.

Not a fan of the carvery here.. meat is undercooked and fatty.. Yorkshire Puddings are overcooked and tastes like they are frozen!

Everything was as it should be except the host, who made it perfectly clear he was not impressed that we hadnt booked a table. Then proceeded to show us to one of at least 9 empty tables, none of which were used throughout our stay.

Needs to raise its game - far too inconsistent. Tonight the food was well below par - the vegetables weren?t cooked properly, most of it was cold, no cauliflower cheese - generally very poor. The staff are great though.
