i came here on the 25th of july had wings and a burger the wings gave me salmonela wasnt cooned properly and the burger was vile do t even think it was beef as the meat was white it was dry and tasted like cardboard would not reccomend i was in bed for 7/8 days and missed out massivly on wages at work money im not going to get back ???

What a lovely pub even though they are doing some renovations, the Sunday carvery was excellent one of the best we've had and we will go back again. The staff are so pleasant and nothing was to much trouble.
Would recommend to anyone.

Great food, The place is going through an interior face lift ,while open but they cannot do enough for you.
Great value food and drinks, kids play ground,and hook ups for Caravans and Motor homes. Beautiful walk close by. Worth a visit

I recently came here for my daughter's birthday, and I needed to review the place because they deserve it. The service was beyond great, and the food was better than any pub food I've ever had have. For 5 to eat there it was just over £100, and we all got the fish and chips, with onion rings and cheesy garlic sauce. The sauce was the best part, paired with the onion rings, and I'd recommend it. It was a lovely family dinner and we all enjoyed it with no complaints.

The owner and staff were absolutely lovely, and the food was better than I ever could have imagined. For 5 people to eat it was just over £100, and we all got the fish and chips, with onion rings and cheesy garlic sauce. Everything was perfect, but the sauce was so good I couldn't get enough of it. Me and my family loved the experience here and we would definitely come again. I would rate more than 5 stars if I could.
