We had seen the advert in the local Life magazine and thought that looks a good deal! But it wasn't to be I'd booked a table for 4 so they knew they had at least 4 people for lunch we got there. First the music in the bar was far to load you couldn't hear to talk at times, finally got our drinks we'd ordered meal and waited! When it finally arrived it was kiddy sized portions! I had ordered lasagne I was lucky to find the meat! We waited for them to clear the table, while we waited we noticed there was only one staff doing everything from taking orders, serving drinks etc. Come on this is no way to run a business please get more staff on or your going to get what we did we voted with our feet and we won't be back!! I don't blame the staff he was doing his best but come on put your hand in your pocket and get more staff at busy times! You advertised the menu so you should have expected more customers!! Oh and I didn't pay the extra 10% you sneaked on the end of your menu in small print . Wake up you'll soon be out of business!

I visited here years ago and was amazed by the quality of food and the atmosphere was amazing, on visiting today I was very disappointed the atmosphere was nonexistent, the food was edible, would I suggest going to anyone! No there?s better places around. The staff! The Young girl that was on the bar and served our food was fantastic, the guy that seemed in charge, not so much. But that?s just my opinion.

We called in for drinks and sat in the garden area, the garden furniture is absolutely filthy, you just didn't want to sit on it and dirty your clothes.

Popped in for a larger or two as we were passing by. Didnt order any food, but was delighted we did stop to check out one of our local pubs. Being new to the area I will definitely stop by again for lunch. Beauty garden on a hot summers day. Very cozy.

Stunning Sunday dinner! Took a booking from us last minute, service was fab, very accommodating, dog friendly, 10/10!
Gutted the truffle cauliflower cheese had gone, had Cheesy leeks instead, which was delicious!

We were a bit disappointed with the beef on the Sunday Roast. It was cooked well, but it was a fatty cut, and that let it down
We mentioned it, and we did get a discount on the bill, so we were happy with that.
The service otherwise was excellent, and the staff were really friendly

Went end of March and had fabulous meal, even recommended it to family.
Forward one month. Went at lunchtime on Saturday 3rd May and surprised to find it empty.
Lamb and sea bass not available. I ordered Haddock to be told no mushy peas and served with a tablespoon of peas in their place. Fish deep fried sat on chips which were soaking up the fat. My partner ordered the Pie. A wedge of pie containing not much meat and a crust that his knife wouldn't go through and a small pot of gravy.
All in all a disaster served on small plates and at a cost of £55 including drinks. How can this happen in 4 weeks.
Needless to say we will not be visiting for a while, if ever.

It's OK. It was recommended by a friend as a great place to go and eat, but my experience wasn't the same.
Saturday afternoon, no atmosphere. The Veggie food was nothing to get excited about (unless you love halloumi or beetroot).
Service: no rush until they need you to clear the table.
I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.
