Decided to book a table here for my partners birthday. The previous date night we had, the service was brilliant, new menu was great! However, this time really was not up to TGI standards?
We sat and the waitress did take our order for drinks almost immediately, we didn?t mind this as we pre-read the wowcher menu prior. She allowed us some more time to decide what we were having for starters. We ordered 3 portions of nachos and a sweet chicken. The nachos were lathered in spice! Far too much for our taste anyway. On my previous visit I had these, and they were perfect. My 1 year old had chicken fajitas, chips and garlic ciabatta. She only ate half of it! I?m not even kidding, the lack of communication is so evident. Whilst we?re were barely done with our starter, a different waitress brought our mains?! Obviously we weren?t ready but then felt the need to finish up. They came to collect our plates and asked if we wanted to give it 5 minutes before having our mains? yes of course whilst our mains go cold and stale under a heat lamp!?? I had the legendary burger, whilst it was somewhat tasty, it was just lathered in grease and was just sloppy. We also ordered the sesame chicken, which is nothing like it used to be may I add. My partner had a bubblegum daiquiri, which was just pure ice and had no taste to it?
Honestly the taste, presentation, quality and service has really gone down hill. We were so disappointed and purely went again today as our previous visit was great. I think the waitresses just wanted to finish their shift. We paid using wowcher, we were almost charged full price until we made it known it was a prepaid voucher, whereby we should be only charged for additional meals such as my daughters or extras on the mains.
????????????????
TGI is not what it used to be, this one is always dead, there are so many tables available.
Overall, very disappointing visit and wouldn?t recommend wasting your money.

Arrived as a family of 7, although seated quite promptly, it went down hill from there. Service left a lot to be desired. A few of our party got drinks at the bar before being seated. However, when arriving to the table, the remaining guests ( myself and partner ) had not got drinks and it took 3 times at least for a waitress to notice this, despite having been to the table for other reasons, before I had to just say can we have a drink please. Moving onto the food, the choice was limited as a lot of items were unavailable. We ordered what we could and when it arrived ( worryingly quick for a table of 7 ), it wasn?t appealing. Presentation poor, portion size very small for the price of meal. Food was cooked, but was quite bland and dry. Plates were being taken whilst members of our party were still eating which is unacceptable service and made us feel rushed to finish. Drinks, like everything else, extremely overpriced. £9.50 for a single vodka!!! £380 for a whole bottle at pub prices. Mental. Cocktails £10.50-£11 for a glass mostly full of ice and watered down drink. Clearly asked for drinks to have no ice, but still arrived the table with ice in. Shows staff aren?t listening and communication and talent between floor staff and bar is lacking. Asked for a cappuccino to be told machine was out of order, decided to have a rain on me instead. That never arrived to the table. Had the chocolate fudge cake for dessert, it was ok, nothing to write home about. For £8.99 it came with a melted pool of ice cream (clearly been left under a heat lamp to have it melted like it was, in turn that made the cake dry ). Come to the bill, the rain on me which I never got, was on the bill ( £10.50!! ) And when challenged, staff said that it?d be repaid in 5-10 days which is fine but it shouldn?t have happened. Overall, not a good experience. Overpriced, underwhelming and not acceptable for the price! Having gone out the night before, still as a party of 7 to relish in town, we all had a starter and obviously a main meal and a few had a dessert. The bill came to £297 for that there. At TGI?s nobody had starters but again, obviously had a main course, and all 7 had desserts. Bill came to £271!! In my opinion that just says it all ? ludicrous!!
Sorry to say we will not be back!

The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed the time there. Service was a little slow but we came with a party of 5. Not many people at 8 pm.
Vegetarian options: Labelled vegan/vegetarian dishes, you xan ask about options.
Parking: Lots of room, parking lot for a Dining Square.

I have just visited with my wife...
The restaurant was clean and tidy and the food was very good, I've knocked 2 stars off for the cost £25+ for a cheese burger is absolutely mental. There was barely anything under £20.
Even their Wednesday promotion was £15. Promotion?!
Service was brilliant, served by a young lady called Alisha, she was warm bouyant and attentive.
If that lady wasn't working there I think they might be in a mess.

Considering how empty the restaurant was the service wasn't great. We got regular drinks instead of diet but were told we didn't specify, but we did on 2 occasions.
I asked some questions in relation to dietary restrictions and the information I got back was a bit confusing.
The chicken strips were nice (as always), but everything else was underwhelming considering the price.
We won't be coming back to this restaurant.

Hands down the worst experience of TGIs I?ve ever had.
Arrived at about 7pm to a half empty restaurant. We were told that there was going to be a 20 to 25 minute wait so we sat at the bar by the door waiting for our table. When they eventually came to take us to our table 20 minutes later we were taken to a table for two (one in a row of 5 available yet directly next to another couple in a half empty place when nobody had left in the last 20 minutes so what was the delay with getting us seated).
We ordered the boneless hot wings and JD sesame chicken strips. The boneless wings came without the blue cheese sauce and when asked if we could have some was told they didn?t have any earlier but she would check (we watched and she didn?t check) instead she returned a few minutes later telling us they didn?t have any but why wasn?t we told that when we ordered we wouldn?t have ordered it without the sauce we were then asked if we wanted to replace the sauce so we asked for some JD sauce which was added onto the bill at the end of the night? why ?
The JD chicken strips come without any salad and on a tiny side plate definitely not a full portion and dry like they had been sat under a heat lamp for the past hour
I asked for the ultimate American grill but they had no beef short rib, when I asked if it would be substituted with something else I was told no, I asked if it would still cost the same I was told yes ??. So I went for the full rack of ultimate ribs with JD and cheese and bacon fries (well half a portion of them) when they came on a tiny side plate again along with half a corn on the cob sliced into strips which I can only assume was to stop me from realising that there was only half a cob on my plate instead of a full one.
We also had a main of sesame chicken strips which turned up dry
All of this whilst being served by the most unhelpful miserable waitress
We came because we heard that TGIs were closing down and wanted one before this happened but left completely understanding why they may be going out of business
Absolutely shocking
Our bill came to over £90 which I paid but can think of many places which would cost half that and would come with much better service

You can tell TGIF has gone into administration and the staff here have obviously given up. Food was pretty poor, of the five or so staff running about to the other 2 tables in this evening they obviously couldn't communicate with each other. Wrong items on bill. Double orders brought to table. At one point the wrong tables food was delivered. Started on then removed and handed to the original customer. Bill was wrong and when challenged tried using language barrier as excuse to not give refund. Would whole heartedly not recommend this place for any occasion as there are far better places 5 yards away.
