I?ve delayed writing this review as I wanted to receive my sofa first, and due to the Christmas period, my sofa was understandably delayed.I purchased the La-Z-Boy Nevada sofa on the 29th November 2023. I was served by Philip at the Doncaster store and in all fairness, this must have been one of the easiest sales that he has ever done as I knew exactly what I wanted.The sofa is modular and therefore I knew which modules I needed. Phillip was very helpful in making sure that what I had in mind was right and took the time to show me similar items in store and one sofa that was from the Nevada range in the colour that I decided on and helped to reassure me that it would compliment my carpet (I had taken a sample of carpet with me).The whole transaction was painless, and Philip has even sourced me 2 complementing cushions, which I need to collect now that my sofa has been delivered.Furthermore, on the 2nd December, Philip contacted me to tell me that SCS had an offer on where a complementary cleaning kit and easy sliders were being added free. He updated my order accordingly and informed me of the update.On 4th January 2024 I received a text telling me that my sofa had arrived at their depot and was scheduled for delivery on the 11th January. This date was not convenient due to my shift rota, so I phoned to re-arrange delivery. I was offered the 13th January, but this too wasn?t convenient. I asked if I could have the 15th January and was told that SCS don?t schedule deliveries that far in advance and that I would have to phone on the 08/01/2024 to see if my preferred date would be available. The woman I spoke to was a bit off hand and had the audacity to ask what was wrong with the original date. I shouldn?t have to justify my reasons why other than that it doesn?t fit in with me. I wasn?t asking for a date weeks or months down the line.Not wanting to risk having to pay an additional delivery charge, I phoned back on the 5th January and asked if I could have the 13th January but an afternoon delivery as I would have come off nights early hours that morning. I was told that wasn?t possible and was offered the 15th January. Why could I have not been given this date the day before? For that reason alone, I have knocked off 1 star.The day of delivery went smoothly. The tracking service was fine, and the drivers made up half an hour with their other delivers. Aaron and Todd were my assigned crew for delivery. I couldn?t have asked for more.The chaise part of my sofa was too big to fit through my lounge room door and was too big to go by the side of the house for entry through the patio door. The alternative was to carry the chaise through the snicket and to attempt to lift it over the back fence. Fortunately, Todd was able to lift up the fence panel and we were able to carry it through the fence and into the house.Todd and Aaron were efficient in the setting up of my sofa and ensured that everything worked fine. All packaging was collected and removed.The La-Z-Boy Nevada sofa is to die for. I?ve only had it a couple of days so not able to testify on how durable it is or if it is worth the money, but first impressions are positive.

We bought a sofa from here last year in November 2022. The delivery was delayed leaving us without a sofa over Christmas. Our sofa arrived and everything looked great however we?ve had nothing but issues since then. The quality of the sofa wasn?t fit for purpose and ripped, fell apart, squished and deformed within weeks of having it. We?ve battled with customer services for the year since last year and have been told that we could have a full refund or swap for something of equal value.Upon revisiting the shop we were spoken down to and made to feel stupid by a bald man at the store. He wasn?t interested in anything that we had to say and started deducting money off of the amount that we had to use for a new sofa. Told us we need to pay for another delivery, we need to pay for sofa care again. By the time he was finished we were down by ~£400.If you want a sofa, go to a sofa store that actually values your custom instead of a store that wants to take your money and provide a subpar product and then charge you extra for doing no work to help you resolve anything.

Bunch of crooks. Just found out they delivered my mum furniture that isn?t like the one she ordered. So now she?s going through an Ombudsman to get it sorted. Personally I?d have just dropped it off in their showroom. Pretty unthinkable in this day and age. Do not spend any money here, do yourself a favour and go to furniture factors round the corner.

The manager was so rude today left us mid sale to go answer the door bell at the back of the shop and then proceeded to chat to what looked like his mates and just left us there, we decided to leave after this appalling customer service. Would have scored a zero if possible.Who does he think he is ?

Hated being followed around by the sales man. Couldn't browse comfortably so went elsewhere.

Extremely knowledgeable and attentive staff, the store was bright, clean and inviting. No sales pressure. Relaxed environment, friendly assistance on hand when needed. Christina is an asset to the organisation.

Rubbish service, the salesman in the shop was fine but the night before we was expected to take delivery of our new sofa scs cancelled on us after we had scrapped our old one for the new one coming, got another date of 25th of July and we have had to call them this morning to be told its delayed until the 8th of August now, unfortunately we are on holiday that week, scs just blame the supplier which is poor to be honest, take some responsibility we've ordered through you so you are liable, we will be cancelling this order and ordering from somewhere else more reliable

Bought our sofas and carpets from these, the shop assistant was amazing..sofas were late, carpet was damp damaged..now got our sofas but almost a year later and still no carpet, got a call in December 2021 saying carpet would be here in January..got another call on January 31st 2022 stating it?s going to be mid March at the earliest now. I?m sick of waiting, going to call and get a refund for my carpet. It?ll be a year if it goes on till April. Will never buy from these again!

Well...We got out of the car and walked through the door and I thought we had opened the door of the TARDIS and had been catapulted back to a time when peool had no taste.That said.. the staff were lovely.First and last time here for us .

Hello, I looked into buying a sofa only to be told that the sale price had increased by over £200 to have foam over fibre filling and delivery. Not a good shopping experience.

Nobody EVER phones you back. Nobody EVER lets you know the state of your order. You CAN'T phone the shop. When you do phone H/O it takes 30 minutes just to get through each time. Their carpet delivery people don't liaise with their sofa guys. Shockingly poor after sales service. Had we known, we would have gone elsewhere. Rubbish. Can't comment on the quality yet but hopefully .....

Went to the Doncaster and placed order. Staff were really friendly and kept socially distanced but still had the personal feel to the visit to store. On my way home I realised I ordered a 3 seater instead of the 2. I rang the customer number explained the issue.No drama sent me an email I put down what I wanted amending and got confirmation within 72 hours. Great service will be back

Visited SCS Doncaster to purchase a new corner sofa. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the door....she had only been there a week but was really helpful and friendly. We were introduced to Simon who showed us around the store.....he was great and definitely knew his product. Not pushy and showed immense patience throughout our three visits over three days before finally deciding on the one !!! Would highly recommend.....ask for Simon when you go in....he was a star.
