Staff have a bad attitude. I am not from the area and not familiar with this pub. I called them on the phone while in a bad WiFi signal area and asked what type of food they served. I was told with quite an attitude to go look on the website, it's a pub! That is no way to speak to potential customers and needless to say I didn't bother going there this evening.
UPDATE: I find it regrettable that your response lacks both an apology and any acknowledgment of how I was treated.

Stunning pub, really lovely inside and beer garden outside. Food a high standard and reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. A great place for food or drink

Good pub grub. Lunchtime menu very good. Attentative staff, only 4 stars because part of one meal was missing

Speedy service. We had drinks and starters in under ten minutes. Mains were around five minutes after finishing the starter. Around five minutes for the sweet to arrive. All good was served hot, tasty with good servings. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. An overall very nice experience. We will be back, soon.
