Only go for children's swim lessons. The changing rooms are really cold and poorly equipt. The driveway is covered in really bad pot holes

Reply to your response to Emma crooks review .
It?s nothing about money or current climate is all about your complete and utter over all attitude and totally disrespect and contempt that you treat people with . You say that you?ve got over 50 years experience between you in running an establishment like this you promised us the earth and delivered every excuse imaginable and all that you are capable of is being rude obstructive and all your interested in is money and not customer service. Both don?t know what each other are saying and don?t know what your staff are doing . You all were told what was wanted and agreed from day one and that it wouldn?t be any issues but had so many different excuses and explanations for it not to happen .if you read your own reviews and looked this is not the first time there?s been complaints. In all honesty all your abrupt attitudes and even saying that you have had issues with other weddings and wasn?t even attempting to try and resolve several issues that had arisen. I?m appalled and discussed with the overall team and service

If you are planning on getting married here don?t! They have forced my hand into cancelling my wedding because there so called manager at the time Tim has messed everything up if it wasn?t for talking about the registar it wouldn?t of even been happening as Tim told us they would sort all that and everything that was agreed on now isn?t acceptable, but yet do they do anything to resolve the issues that was caused by their former employee no they don?t have even attempt to resolve the issue they blame you the customer and chase you for money even though you are in limbo about their changes AVOID

Wow, what an experience. I did the exclusive hire at Rossington Hall for my 30th birthday last week (Feb 2025) and I couldn?t recommend anything more, definitely exceeded expectations.
The staff were welcoming and hospitable, especially Debbie, Gary, Thomas and Charlotte - thank you for making the weekend all that I had hoped for and one that I will cherish forever.
We were welcomed with a log fire on arrival, perfect for the wintery day it was. Debbie and Thomas then gave us a tour of the place, with each room showing off its own personality through the manor decor, the drawing room being a personal favourite and of course the fabulous Streatfield suite. After the tour Debbie and Thomas left us to enjoy our exclusive hire, there was a bell if we needed anything but other than that our privacy was respected and really felt like we had the place to ourselves.
We went with the catered meal option on the Saturday and the food was beyond expectations! I would recommend the mushroom entree and chicken main, and the staff kindly brought out the birthday cake that I had brought. A big thanks to Gary, Debbie and Charlotte!
The best surprise was the heated jacuzzi which I wasn?t aware of when organising the weekend which was a lovely way to end the evening on a very wintery day.
Lucy was so helpful and timely in responding to my many email queries before the weekend. The industrial kitchen was perfect for meal preparation for 33 of us (I went with pizzas, and a big buffet breakfast which was super easy and the heat lamps were very useful!).
It was easy to reach, most of us were from London which was an easy 1.5hr train ride from Kings cross after work and got an Uber from Doncaster. I organised food delivery from two big supermarkets which also worked well.
All in all, what an incredible experience we had at Rossington Hall, the staff, decor, exclusivity made it the best weekend that myself and 33 guests will cherish forever. Lastly, the cost was so affordable compared to any other place that I came across and the lack of noise curfew meant we could party until the sun came up.
Thank you again Rossington Hall, I can?t wait to come back!!!!!!!

Seemed like a mile from the main road and the road leading to it was a complete mess, even the Taxi driver complained about it.

We cannot thank everyone enough at Rossington Hall for making a wedding that far
exceeded our expectations! It was awe-inspiring from beginning to end, like a magnificent,
lavish, dreamlike adventure: such as, walking out in front of the guests onto a red carpet (a
gorgeous surprise? just magical) shortly after the ceremony. I have no idea how General
Manager/Wedding Coordinator, Jayne managed to arrange every aspect and detail of our
wedding with her colleagues and staff with such precision and yet charm, warmth, calmness,
diplomatic assertiveness where required, and infectious humour.
The ceremony was superbly coordinated by her and her team. Hugs and lovely comments
from one or two staff I knew helped calm my nerves. During the reception and meal, it was
so impressive to watch all staff treat every wedding guest as though they were royalty.
The night before meal at Rossington and both morning breakfasts after - I think the best
we?ve had - were just sumptuous and blissful as well? Thanks to all of their unbelievably
hard working, fantastic staff, not forgetting owner, Gary?s impressive work behind the scenes
in the kitchen for beautifully presented and delicious meals and breakfast.
Although the overall experience of this was regal and luxurious, all staff - including Debbie
present throughout, always delightful and lovely, while working around the clock, Thomas
super patient and efficient on bar - were always courteous, extremely helpful, approachable
and warmhearted?. A kind of welcoming and hospitable Rossington family?. Looking after
you at every moment? Bending over backwards to bride and groom, guests alike? Myself
and my husband received numerous texts from guests afterwards about how wonderful the
wedding and venue were.
If only we could relive this all over again. I?m sure we will return for an anniversary or
several?
We are humbled by our experience there.. and beyond appreciative!!!!

Beautiful building and the staff were really lovely and welcoming. The only negative is the drive way once on the grounds as there are a lot of big pot holes that need filling in. Apart from that it?s a really good party venue.

We recently got married at Rossington Hall, and all I can say is the team here are amazing. Everything was easy and never any trouble and over the year we have worked along side them to make our big day happen they felt like friends. I?ve got to shout out Jayne for being the best wedding coordinator ever, she advised us on so much to make sure we didn?t waste money or opportunities and gave the best service! Also Debbie for being so lovely too, we will continue to come back and visit in the future. Such a beautiful house with a top class team working hard x

Went to a wedding here. There was no alcohol on tap and they were charging £5 for a 440ml can of beer. It?s £5 for 4 cans in a supermarket and no doubt they get them cheaper from their suppliers when buying in bulk. Absolute rip off.

We had the whole place to ourselves over the Easter weekend. We were 16 people altogether, 8 adults and 8 teenagers. A wonderful venue. We easily could have been twice that number and it wouldn't have felt crowded. Huge luxurious rooms, open fires, drawing room, multiple dining rooms to chose from, winter garden as well as the fantastic grounds . It really lends itself well to impromptu murder mystery games. The kids especially loved it, choosing their rooms and roaming the 3 floors . We had 2 meals catered, the Sunday roast was especially awesome. They made a real effort to cater to our ideas when designing the menu and provided a very welcoming and personal service. The peak district isn't far away, Bawtry the neighbouring village isn't far and 5mins away is an outdoor centre offering paint balling, axe throwing, air rifle shooting and a tree top obstacle course . Great paths for runs or walks directly from the property too.
