This incident happened a few months ago, but I still feel it?s necessary to speak up and let people know how awful some of the staff here can be?especially a certain blonde-haired lady.
My mother was overcharged by more than £1,000 by eDreams, and we couldn?t get the money back. When we went to the room for help, this staff member told us to call the customer service number and then asked us to leave. I asked if we could come back to her if the phone call didn?t resolve the issue, and I could already sense her impatience?whether it was because we?re Chinese, or because we had a baby stroller, I don?t know.
She pretended to be polite and said we could speak to other staff if the call didn?t help. But when we lined up again to seek further help, we saw her pull a colleague aside and whisper something. Then that colleague (who was supposed to be assisting people in the line) came over and told us, ?The blonde lady said your issue has already been dealt with. We?re very busy and can?t assist you any further.?What kind of service is this? Not only was she unhelpful, but she also got her coworkers involved in pushing us away. It was truly disgusting behavior.

After a short wait, I was greeted with Lee to deposit some cash. Had a nice chat about travel and he made the process enjoyable, also recommended a card for travel etc. Excellent customer service, hope to deal with him again. Top bloke! Thanks again Lee :)

Have to wait in a queue to be seen by one staff member who is working while the rest of the staff stand around doing nothing.

Unhappy with the service in this branch. I wanted to enquire about a joint account with my partner, however I was greeted with "what are you wanting" which was very unprofessional, I was then told to sat down and someone would be with me to give me advice as they aren't able to schedule appointments as they don't have any people able to do it in branch. There was lots of customers sat waiting it was chaos. I was then waiting over 15 minutes to be then taken into a room. I was then told my partner would need to switch his current account to halifax to be able to add him to my new current account as we both need to be a halfax customers. I was very disappointed with the outcome as I felt like I left the branch with no confidence or help to my query.
I then travelled to the Pontefract branch and they were a lot more welcoming and professional and managed to book me an appointment next week to be able help me with my enquiry and that only took 10 minutes.
I will not be going back to the back for any advice or help would not recommend at all.

Using this bank is a slow painful process and it's made that way on purpose. They assign as few staff to actually interact with customers as possible then make you sit in a corner and wait on a list when you enter. Pay In machines go unmaintained and frequently lock up and crash. Snotty attitude from staff member who tries to direct you around, speaks to you like you're something from the bottom of her shoe, and that you couldn't be a bigger inconvenience.

Had problems with a staff member, I've have paid my dad bill many time though my bank card with no problem until yesterday when I had to tell him, I want to pay my dad bill though my card, only to start blabbering on about the law and when I said what are you talking about he says I can't use my dad card so I told him it was my card and my dad does not even have a bank with them and I have paid the bill many time before, I had to keep repeating myself to him just so he could understand, he finally understood in the end and finally paid the bill, what a totally idiot.
Next time I'll just go to a different hailfax, at least they listen to you there.

All I wanted was to move my savings to higher rateAfter 2 consults with staff I was told there was no-one in brach qualified to do this I would have to do this myself on line or go to Worksop.Eventually got appt in branch with someone coming from Goole.On arriving at branch was told he was sick and I should have been contacted.I asked to speak to someone to make a complaint My details were taken and I was informed the manager would contact me 48 hours later I am still waiting.Dont even go therehe was

Racial Profiling and discriminatory attitude from certain members of staff. Management leads by example and this is definetly true. They refused to identify me with x2 proof of id and adrss , After rrquesting to log a complaint. Now after they Identified me with licence and id card they refused to make any changes e.g phone number due to not having my card. In other word you lose ur phone and card and you have no acces to your accouny. There is a fine line between "PROTECTING MY FUNDS, AND BEEN ABSURD AND PREVENTING ME TO ACEES MY FUND " and thus branch have crossed it wrong sides unfortunately. I end up speaking with a manager that was only trying to escalatr the matter further by gigling and asking stupid question. He accepted to log my complaint but told me he will refuse it and i will not be able to escalate it further. I strongly advise all foreign Barclays acc holder to stay away from this branch. Finaly i will close my account and i wish them to never feel mistreated the way that they made me feel

We've been back twice now trying to sort something faily simply but they didn't tell us everything we'd need to take with us. We queued for an hour as there was only one person on the help desk, only to find We still couldn't get done what we wanted
