Stay away absolutely shocking customer service can't speak with a manager customer service is a waste of time because they tell you a call back will happen 3 to 4 days nothing waste of time don't care about the customer just want your money

Three Months of Waiting, Zero Delivery ? DFS Failed Me Completely
? Review Body:
I placed an order with DFS almost three months ago, with confirmed finance, delivery addresses, and approval.
On 21st May, I received an official DFS email confirming my delivery was scheduled for 4th June 2025. I even took a day off work to accept the delivery.
But on the day, nothing arrived. When I contacted DFS, a customer service agent told me the distribution centre had no record of my item and no delivery was scheduled. The online tracker said the item would arrive by 1st June ? but even that didn?t happen.
So which is it?
? DFS gave me false confirmation of a delivery
? DFS wasted my time and cost me a day?s income
? DFS has no clue where my order is
? DFS customer service offered no solution
After nearly 3 months, I still don?t have the furniture I paid for. DFS has shown a complete lack of professionalism, poor communication, and zero accountability.
I?ve filed a formal complaint and will escalate to the Furniture Ombudsman and Financial Ombudsman if this isn?t resolved.
Avoid DFS unless you?re happy to be ignored and strung along for months.

Had a sofa delivered in December had someone come out in Feb as sofa wasn't right he said it was faulty we have heard nothing since tried emailing no answer one seat as sank and rest of sofa creaks like we have had it years not happy at all

Friendly staff, large variety of sofas to choose from. Free tea and coffee available from machine. Computer tablets available in store to browse sofas if you?re unable to walk around store.

Sofa was delivered with a hole in the bottom and a scag on the seat
I have to take a day off work to have it repaired DFS will not cover my loss of earnings for the faulty product to be repaired

Worst shopping experience ever. Long delays, incomplete orders, extra charges for redeliveries and collections, not weeks, no months, but a year long ordeal. I wish I never ordered from this company.

A company that couldn?t care less about sorting problems that they caused. I ordered a coffee table in September and was told it would be delivered on the 7th December.. It never arrived and nor will it as it is no longer being produced. Looked for alternate option with was £30 more? call handler from complaint team unwilling to waver extra charge as original was £199? even though they are at fault? I have never felt more let down by a customer experience than I do now. I will categorically NEVER darken there door again as it?s the principal that matters to me and this company clearly has none. Have purchased via Sofology before and never had any issues so will be returning to them in the future. DFS you have lost a great customer today?. Shame

Ordered A 3+2+1 seater sofa on the 1st of June was told it would be delivered by the end of July, we then received and email say would be with us by 15th of July we waited until the end of July still no sofa, went back into store also contacted customer service to get told they haven't got the parts and don't know when we will get it, WIll NEVER USE DFS EVER AGAIN THEIR LIARS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE UNHELPFUL AND DISGUSTING, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!;;

A very easy going nice place to tip a container. The security guard was really friendly and helpful and the lads on the bay did a great job of handballing the load in a timely fashion.

If I could give a MINUS I would. Stay away from this company. Ordered sofa from Basildon Branch in October 2023. Delivered in December without a baseboard. Said someone would come out to put one on. I lifted cormer of sofa to make sure they had put the easygliders on the feet and injured my fingers from jaggered edges of sharp staples. Turns out baseboard wasn't missing, someone had damaged sofa and ripped the baseboard off before delivery. Shouldn't have left dangerous sofa in my home or at very least should have warned me.
Said a zipped baseboard would be attached but fitter wasn't told this. By end of December told them i was going to involve my credit card company and wanted to cancel order. They put in an order for a new sofa for me with a zipped base board to aid delivery but it arrived without this and had to be sent back. Came back on 24th March to deliver it and zios had been placed in middle of sofa so not fit fit fir purpose. How could such a sill mistake bern made. Obvious need to be either side, close to arms so delivery company can access the arms to remove them.
In between this lots of promises by store and when it goes wrong they change story to try to act blameless. They forget i have email proof of what they have agreed. Head office useless just refer your compainr back to store to phone you. Even hand delivered letter to store for attention of the stores general manager but intersepted by one of many assistant managers. No continuity for handling complaints and when i wanted to make a formal ccomplaint about the sales of the insurance package they mis-sold me this was ignored too which I believe is illegal.
Now 28th march 2024 and still not in receipt of goods as ordered.
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from DFS to stay away. Sadly the brand has hone down hill from its hey day and is disorganised and in utter chaos.

I recently lost my husband and due to family and friends coming over for the funeral I went and ordered a sofa on 7day delivery the payment was made in full on the 23/02/24 as of today I still have no sofa and no answer when you call customer services they just tell you I will pass it to the store . Apparently the supplier is waiting for an email to authroise the release of my goods I will advise people to not believe a word they say as I've been made empty promises continuously and with what I'm going through this has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety and sleepless nights as to how I will get this resolved I dont know at this point because I've had to email the CEO today and I'm just waiting for a response I probably won't get any resolution but this is to help other people thinking of spending their hard earn money at DFS just be careful not to end up like me left in this mess
