“Over more than I’d say going on 25 years we’ve had furniture of one form or another from furniture factors, and always been happy and satisfied.Our current leather suite of about 12 years, the 2 seater hardly been sat in, but the 3 seater now looking a bit old and tired. I contacted and spoke with Dean who said that whilst it was now discontinued, he did have a 3 seater in clearance. We went, we inspected, we bought it. Really pleased with the deal we got, and I’m more than confident that we’ll get another 12 years out of it. Maybe more now that the kids have grown up and left.Happy customer.”

“I recently severely broke my leg but had to get a new jumper for a family celebration meal out so I visited the Doncaster store and due to mobility problems because of my leg getting from the car to the store was hard work and by time I reached the store I was sweaty out of breath and as soon as got through a member of staff must of seen me struggling as the young lady came upto me asked me if I was OK and asked me if there was any help she could give after getting me a chair to sit on which I explained my visit this young lady then said you wait there sir and I will see what we can sort out for you after about 10-15 minutes wait the young lady came back with a collection of jumpers of different designs, patterns etc and when I saw the one I liked she asked if the colour there was OK or there was a choice of other colours and I asked for for a cream or light colour in an xl size and off she went and returned with one that was perfect I thanked her so much and apologised for being a burden and her reply was its all in the matalan service and customer satisfaction that matters and we are here to help and off I hobbled back to the car what a great service and shop and amazing value for money in all it's products.”

“Large shop with lots of barging, large women's section and a good selection of kids clothes, but not a massive section for men, some of the store was a bit of a jumble sale so you have to hunt through the rails, the staff on the checkout were very pleasant”

“It’s hard to find a negative with this store. Always well staffed and the staff are lovely. Customer services have got it right which is a rarity today. Easy parking and a good selection of goods. Over the last year I have been moving around to ‘cost’ different supermarket chains and M&S, as long as you’re selecting carefully, are on top for price and quality. Especially with veg, bread and milk the essentials are cost effective. My only negative is that some of the more popular ranges of meals have seen a stark sometime disproportionate increase but this is company wide. e.g the Ramen meal deal which had priced me out. But instead of buying twice a week I’ve just reduced to once.Overall, well done M&S”

“This is a Tsesco Extra, located out of the town in Woodfield Plantation/Balby. It's located a bit out of the way, and unless you were actually out looking for it, you'd be unlikely to stumble across it. There's rarely a problem getting parked which is good, there's a large, wide entrance to the store. They sell the usual groceries - quite a large selection - as well as quite a range of non-food things too. They seem to be trying to sell a bit of everything, but not having a comprehensive range of anything. I recently went to look at the toys in the hope of stocking up early for Xmas with the Double Up promotion, but the selection was really poor and I came away with very little. That said, it's a good place to browse, and generally at reasonable prices.”

“Had a lovely experience today in Marks and Spencer in Doncaster centre. We were treated by the most friendly member of staff I have ever encountered. I think he was a meet and greeter/security. He was wearing a green top and was so lovely and friendly.”
