Dropped in during lunch break and ordered the three bean chilli with rice from the lunch menu. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot, and hit the spot.
Staff were attentive, polite, and made the experience smooth and pleasant.
The portion size was more than generous?definitely enough to keep you full through the afternoon! Great value considering how much food you get.

TLDR; Consistently great food over the last decade!
Visited for fathers day; it was much busier than we anticipated. We had booked a table and were seated right away. Our drinks arrived promptly, along with our food soon after.
The food was excellent across the board (as it usually is). The enchiladas are big hit for me!

Love the aesthetics of Cactus Jacks. Nice western feel. Staff was amazing and friendly. Place is mostly full and moving, so that speaks a lot.

Called for a meal before seeing a show at Cast. Seated straight away and drinks served while we viewed menu. Meal was delicious and arrived pretty quickly. Staff was lovely, polite and attentive. We ordered a pulled pork salad bowl, Mexican chicken salad bowl, big chief, beer battered onion rings, cheese garlic bread and potato skins.

My manager treated me to a lunch today as thanks for my performance at work. She asked where I wanted my lunch from and i immediately said Cactus Jacks as love or rather loved their burgers. It was takeaway and I asked for what id always had before....a plain burger with wedges. I can't describe what was served up. It was nothing like what I'd ever been served before from there. The burger was rock solid and i mean rock solid all the way round the edge. A centimetre in from the edge was not much better and inedible. The burger was black and hard all the way to the centre. I cant undrmerstand why the chef let it go out of the kitchen. It went in the bin. Not sure why thos happened as usually theyre extremely delicious burgersfrom Cactus Jacks. The wedges were great! But its a shame my manager who just wanted to treat me and had paid money out of her own purse, and not company money had to witnes me throw the gift in the bin :( I'd specifically requested my treat from Cactus Jack's when she asked where did i want the lunch from. My manager had ordered other items. They were fine. Extremely disappointing today with my unusually horrendous burger.
