We wanted to donate some bedroom furniture, a double wardrobe and a fitment that split into three parts. When the person came to collect them he shook them about a bit and said he'd only take some of the units, inferring they were not stable. We had unbolted the fitment so it was easier to transport so obviously when reassembled it would be stable. Not impressed at all. Won't be donating to BHF again.

I went into to by a sofa,
I asked Specially if they'd take away my old sofa & chair, I was told as long as they had fire tags & there would be a £20 collection & delivery fee (council charge £25). I paid & was very happy till they arrived & refused to take the old sofa away as they could not be immediately be resold. i was unable to take delivery of the new sofa without removing the old due to space.
When I contact the shop they said it was up to me to know the policy & even though I specifically asked what the policy was & was lied too, it was my responsibility to know I was been lied too.
eventually the offered to refund the cost of the sofa, but still wanted to charge me for the collection & delivery despite not doing it.
