Never been here before, booked at the last minute for a family birthday and glad we did. It was really busy for a Tuesday night but it was obvious why. Everyone working there was really friendly. We all had food from the set menu. Starters were all really good. Main course were huge and really tasty. Will definitely be visiting again. Really good food at a very reasonable price

Went here with family it looks nothing from the outside..but inside totally different..staff very friendly and welcoming..the food was amazing all of us had a lovely meal..we will definitely be seeing you again

First time here. Was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Great atmosphere, service and food. Have walked past the restaurant many times. A little gem. Highly recommended.

First time visiting this restaurant with a group of friends.
The food I had was lovely. The Calamari was cooked to perfection and the Lasagne was also good.
What let this visit down was the waiting staff. Food was almost banged down on the tables. When ordering extra drinks or desserts it was like it was too much trouble for them. There's a saying "Service with a smile ?" This was lacking at my visit.
As a party of 10 there were a couple of hiccups in the food orders but this was soon sorted.
Come to paying they had no change? So we all paid by card. Thought this a bit weird. If their preference was card payments then put a sign up saying so.
Would I visit again? I'm not from this area so wouldn't make a special trip out.

My friend and I ate here last night.
I was pleasantly surprised at how varied the menu was.
Not the run of the mill Italian choices because of the mexican twist but they also offer the classic italian favourites if that is what you want.
Great selection of vegetarian meals and my friend really enjoyed her Veggie calzone.
The portions are large and we were stuffed, so we couldn't even try a dessert, I'm not complaining but it would have been nice to have tried one of the many tempting desserts on offer.
The staff were attentive and friendly, making chit chat with us at the end of the meal.
I would definitely go again and have already recommended Paulo's to others.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian calcined was excellent and large too with filling all the way to the edge
