THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN... ordered £28.90 worth of food for it all and when I say all I mean all of it to come dripping in grease, curry didn't even taste one little bit like curry it tasted like coconut watered down milk tbh it looked like they urinated in it, spring rolls wasn't even spring rolls it was a grease roll, and the aromatic duck wasn't even cooked in middle but over cooked on the outside, pancakes were stale. Now I'm not normally the one to complain or send things back but this food was absolutely vile and I wouldn't feed it to my dogs. But the customer service is even more vile when you get laughed at over the phone when asking for a refund. They explained that the Refuned will take 5 working days Explained I had to feed my children tonight and not in 5 days and again got laughed at and I said I was going to do this review and report him to food standards agency and his reply was looking forward to it ( laughed at me again) people have tried before, now to me this is a man that knows what he is doing with that reply, and also I actually generally do think that food standards agencies do need to visit this takeaway and investigate because when my partner and son went to drop the food back off the takeaway was as vile as the food, not clean, no gloves when making food and no hairs nets been worn. Disgusting food and disgusting customer service. Wouldn't advise anyone to order from here as your probably more then likely eating dogs, cats and probs rats

Order over £30 and no free prawn crackers like elsewhere, and not sure if chef has changed, but an unbelievable amount of salt in all the dishes. Will be a while until we are back

Just ordered from here for the first time after a menu was put through my letterbox and the food quality and quantity were both excellent. I will definitely use them again regularly

Worst Chinese place in the world. Ordered at half past 7 at night still didn?t arrive by half past 10 rang them up said they?re ? busy? some excuse. GET MORE STAFF USELESS!!!!!!!!!! So no food in the end.

Ordered via uber eats as usual take away closed for Lunar NY. Took 2 hours to arrive. Chips were soggy/reheated. Special chow mein was mostly veg with 2-3 pieces of meat,2 prawns ribs greasy with no flavour at all. Over priced and poor quality - won't be a return customer.

The curry sauce was like spicy gravy,the chicken chow mien was very dry and not what I ordered. I ordered beef and everything was cold I had to use microwave to heat it up and I spent £33 on food to go in the bin I wouldn't even give 0 stars it's that badFirst time ive ordered form this place and will not be ordering from these again

Possibly the worst takeaway ever experienced. The only dish which resembled the description were the chips which were soggy and stone cold. The crispy lamp wasn?t ! It was stringy and full of fat. The squid was so chewy and clearly not fresh - totally inedible. Dry noodles and a chicken dish which had chicken with a slimy texture. Nothing appetising and went in the bin.We had cheese and biscuits instead !

Ordered lamb curry & chipsChips were very dry. Lamb Curry well lamb was stringy and full of grizzle. The curry part only tasted of powder no curry flavour at all. It ended up in bin.NOT IMPRESSED WITH RUBBISH FOOD doesn't even deserve 1 star. Won't go

Omg just had food . Was terrible found a fish bone in my special fried rice . Also the chicken green curry was cover in a glue like substance and my husband chicken curry was like rubber . What a waste of £40 I will never eat there

I've been using lakeside for years but the meal I've had today was terrible so bad we had to through it away. I don't know if it has changed hands or the chef has changed but I will not be using it again
