Pub grub
Middle of the road fare
Six adults two kids under five
All ok until we asked why we had been charged for the kids meals
(clearly marked as kids eat free
Checked dates /days availability all eligible)
Informed that because we had used the heavily advertised app, as prompted everywhere you look in the pub we were not eligible for the discount
Both kids had food from the kids menu and we asked at the bar for a high chair
So don't use the app unless you want to be financially penalised
Food not bad but still left with a bad taste in our mouths

The most tasteless mixed grill I've ever tasted or not as the case was! Hardly any colour on the meat peas were only just cooked as was the tomatoe. Kids running about and the most expensive pint I've ever bought £6.20!!!! And it's following the trend of a refurbishment that looks exactly the same as before.

Recently refurbished family pub in suburb of Sheffield. Wide selection of food available including a number of veggie options. Only had one cask ale on when we visited. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

My only criticism is that I had the meat pie but they didn't have any Hendersons relish. Why? I have a static in a small village called Longframlington in Northumberland and the village shop stocks it so why can't I get it with my pie in Sheffield?

First visit since revamp, booked a table for 3 of us for evening meal. It was Very busy, very crammed, and felt dark. A family was sat at our reserved table, food wasn't up to much, no sizzling plate just steak was placed on what could be explained as boiled soggy onions, coleslaw was poor and cheap, my sons cheese burger was dry with no cheese. Not one staff member came to ask if everything was OK, don't think we will be returning. Very disappointing
