Lovely pub, beautiful decor. The food (we had bar bites) was quality. Maybe a little pricey for what you got but it was done well and we enjoyed it, but we were still hungry afterwards. The service was good and they were very welcoming. We didnt stay in the rooms so can't comment on these.

Food was fantastic and service was great. I called up a few minutes before to check availability and if they had a kids menu,as we were in the area, and the staff were very helpful.
Menu choice was great and they had a lot of gluten free options available! The portion sizes were great so if you have a small appetite, maybe skip the starter.
Definitely recommend for a visit!

We found The Mayflower on line when we were looking for places to stay.
It is very convenient if visiting Yorksire caravans and Motorhomes.
It was in a quiet village.
Rooms accessible separately to the bar. Our room was lovely, spacious and a lovely ensuite.
We ate an evening meal in the pub, lovely fish and sirloin steak cooked to perfection.. The manager and waitress were friendly and helpful.Sorry I have forgotten their names
Well behaved dogs accepted.
Lovely sitting out area at front. Lots of car parking at the back

Absolutely blown away by our experience at The Mayflower Pub! The food was nothing short of phenomenal, every bite packed with flavour and clearly crafted with care (Salt and pepper chicken). From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It?s rare to find a place that nails both the kitchen and the front of house so well. Truly a gem, we can?t wait to come back!

Beautiful, well-equipped rooms in very close proximity to loads of fun stuff. Can also highly recommend their sister pub (The King William at Scaftworth) for brunch. Didn?t manage to dine at The Mayflower this time round but will be back for sure! Staff superb - couldn?t be more helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Booked a table after 40 minutes with nobody coming to take our order we went to the bar and ordered. I?m diabetic and ordered two pints of Diet Coke my sugars have skyrocketed. The drink tasted funny but not sugary so I thought it was just a cheap pop. It was full sugar. The food was ages and mehhh. That?s the level of attention to customer service I experienced. Shocking. Back to the Royal Oak at tickhill for us. Won?t stay open long like tonight?s experience.

I was working away and i struggled to get a room nearby for the night.
They had one room left which was not ready for letting.
The team went overboard to make sure i didnt have to sleep in the van.
The spent over 1hr hour to accomodate me ?
That in its self make the landlady and team truly remarkable people.

Visited this newly opened pub with my family and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The front of house staff were bubbly, warm, and genuinely welcoming ? their kindness and energy were consistent throughout the evening, which really added to the overall atmosphere.
I had the salt and pepper chicken and it was to die for ? full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The food was a definite 10/10, and everyone at the table was just as impressed with their two meals.
The interior is absolutely gorgeous ? stylish, cosy, and clearly designed with care. You can really feel the attention to detail.
We?ll definitely be back again soon. A fantastic addition to the area and one that deserves to do well!

They had a Gluten free menu, however it was very limited and was all main courses, no sandwiches or lunchtime treats. Bit disappointed.
