From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family. The service at this Italian gem was truly exceptional ? warm, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. Every staff member seemed genuinely passionate about making our experience special.
Now the food? wow. The pasta was clearly homemade ? perfectly al dente and bursting with flavor. I had the truffle mushroom ravioli, and it was hands-down one of the best dishes I?ve ever had. The marinara sauce tasted like it came straight from a Nonna?s kitchen, and the tiramisu? Divine.
We also appreciated the thoughtful wine recommendations, which paired beautifully with our meal. From start to finish, everything felt authentic, elevated, and full of heart.
This is more than just a restaurant ? it?s an experience. Can?t wait to come back

What can I say but wow!! The food here was absolutely delicious, I won't say it is cheap but you really get what you pay for, it was excellent. They have specials for starters , mains and dessert which are worth a look at. The service was superb, the staff were knowledgeable about the menu which is refreshing these days.
Everything was on another scale and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Very nice looking place, and overall had a good time, just for the price it was a bit disappointing. Our table was right next to the counter where the servers stood around so had like 2-3 people at a time just randomly stood over us, the food was very delicious! And although the deserts were nice, they were pretty small and my friends had a very long hair in (gross) it that the server kind of laughed off as he my friend didn?t have an issue with it (I would have lol) as it wasn?t like it was on top it ran through his desert.. then when the bill came it wasn?t itemised and specials ordered were grouped together other than what was scrawled on a separate piece of paper so wasn?t easy to understand so I that was fun splitting the bill. Overall good place but a lot can be improved especially for the price.

Red hot food full of flavour and not overpriced. We hadn't been for a while but know the quality is consistently a high standard.
I know its Italian but I would have liked a beer other than Peroni. Doom Bar or Guinness for example. I'll even take it from a can.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our six-year-old's birthday and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the staff were initially friendly, we were seated near the entrance with other families with young children, in what felt like a 'kids' section.' The area was cramped, and we were practically sharing a table with strangers.
My main course, chicken with rice, was served raw. When I raised the issue, the response from the chef was a half-hearted apology delivered indirectly. To top it off, the dessert tasted like it was mass-produced, lacking any authenticity or freshness.
Overall, the atmosphere and food fell far short of expectations, and it?s hard to see much of the Italian charm this restaurant might have once had.

A cut above the rest. Young but clearly well trained staff. Excellent food, quality wines. Not cheap but that is actually sometimes good thing.
The Amarone is very good when he has it.

We're really sorry we hadn't discovered this restaurant before now.
It is 10 miles away from us but worth the journey. We will be talking about their fabulous filet steaks for months to come.
Booked again for this Saturday .

This is a little bit of Italy in Bawtry. It was great to see such an extensive menu (it's not just pizza and pasta).
