What fantastic customer service at the Barnsley branch - I was hesitant at first going in on my own to get a quote for a garden fence I'm doing but was very impressed with the polite and professional service the young man on the hire section provided - who also went out of his way to look at other options online and options for sourcing stock from other branches

Contacted the local branch whose service provision was poor. Contacted Barnsley who provided the product required and very efficient and professional, delivery was excellent also, polite friendly and helpful driver.

What a great company, after flooding my kitchen Travis Perkins Barnsley came to my rescue within three hours. They delivered a dehumidifier for me. The employee set it up and explained how it all worked. He told me if I had any problems with it just to phone them and they would come and sort it out for me.When I had finished with it, just a quick phone call and it was picked up the same day.I was really pleased with the service that they provided and I would recommend them highly to anyone.????? company.

I prefer all perkins to other merchants due to ease of purchase and friendly staff with a very good stock of materials and tools as well as hiring of equipment if you need something more specialty

OUTSTANDING!!!I have visited Travis Perkins on numerous occasions to buy my varied DIY or professional building requirements, and I can't sing their praises high enough!The staff are friendly and as helpful as they can be. There have been times when they either don't stock the item that I'm after, or they have run out... for these guys... NO PROBLEM! They will and have posted me in the right direction to help me get what I need for when I need it, they have even made several phone calls to try and source what I'm after, not every shopping outlet (Builders Merchants) is confident enough to do that. Service like this, in my eyes, buys my loyalty!Travis Perkins is ALWAYS my first port of call for any of my building requirements.10/10 and a big ??? from me ?

I ordered decking joists and boards on line as Travis Perkins were offering a very competitive price. The following morning I received a telephone call confirming the order and the delivery time. When the materials were delivered, the driver was exceptional. He was polite and courteous and even took all the materials round to the garden for me. Every interaction I have had with the company has been absolutely wonderful and cannot recommend the Barnsley team highly enough. I will now never shop anywhere else for building materials.
