Staff chatting to staff and not serving. When I asked to be served pharmacy assistant didn't look pleased. No other ppl in the queue so I asked to also pay for 1 non pharmacy item I had in my hand and was told 'No'. I checked with the other staff at front of Tesco store and they told me that the pharmacy staff can use their till to pay for non pharmacy goods (especially being 1 small item with no one else to serve).
Rude pharmacy staff. They are extremely unprofessional re.other experiences I've had but won't go into that here. Have considered going to the governing body to report this pharmacy due to scheduled medication mysteriously disappearing.
These staff at the pharmacy are on a power trip because they obviously have low self esteem, so watch out customers as you have to battle their big egos when you are simply going to pick up meds, smh????

By far the worst pharmacy in Barnsley
3 days waiting for a prescription to be sorted to be then told its an hour wait for them to get it ready.

Rude no sympathy. Not professional at all
Made to wait a hour then to be told got to come back. Not good when you are already feeling poorly. ??? You understand if they are short staffed but if they are nice about it and not rude towards customers. Just not professional at all

Unfortunately no option for a zero star..... Called in through the day time, as I was working away I had a prescription sent here from my docs for some medication that was needed as soon as possible..... Was told nothing had came through ( prescription ordered couple of days prior ) left it a couple more days and decided to ring before making the journey to them to make sure it was there first.... First couple of times phone just rang out, then I got diverted to a different department on like my fourth time trying, they told me to call back in 10 mins, waited half hour tried again another 3 times, this time the phone was being answered but then put straight back down cutting me off everytime.... Seriously Tesco stairfoot Barnsley? Would it hurt to not get some staff in there with some actual customer service skills?

Never in my life have I met such pig ignorant and rude, uncaring staff at a chemist. EVERYTHING is a chore or an inconvenience to them. Had the misfortune to have to come here twice in the last week and received such appalling ?service.?It?s not rocket science people, just do what the Doctor has told you to and count out the tablets.I will NEVER set foot in this poor excuse for a chemist again. Also submitting a complaint to Community Pharmacy England, which, looking at the previous reviews, obviously won?t make any difference either.

My wife had a late emergency appointment with iheart, prescription sent here and got there for 20:45 and was told to come back in 15mins so we did our shopping and came back for just before 9 to find no staff there, shutters down and other Tesco staff telling us it's shut, what an absolute Joke this pharmacy is.

Went to collect my prescription today , they confirmed they received it the day before but I needed to wait upto 7 days before I could collect it. They refused to make up whilst I did my shopping . Staff rude and unsympathetic and appeared to be clueless . Shame on Tesco as this is the worst customer service imaginable !

I was informed today that they need a 7 day notice to dispense a prescription. This along with waiting and never receiving 2 orders of Peptac liquid earlier in the summer. They are not fit for purpose.

Ordered repeat prescription 7 days in advance as suggested and when I went to collect I was told they were behind with prescriptions and mine wouldn't be available until the following evening at the earliest - 8 days to get a prescription ready - absolute garbage!Changing mine to home delivery.
