“Never been here before. Driven past it loads of times though so on this occasion I called in. This shop is amazing. Food bargains galore at excellent prices. Really impressed with the freezer section. I can see myself becoming a regular customer here.”

“First visit decent size car park the store is a decent size with a good selection of produce I find you have to watch the sell by dates especially of fruit on vegetables has I shop for the week midweek sometimes come the weekend the vegetables aren’t good the store sometimes has out of date products on the shelf which should be removed!! Today I didn’t complete my shop has store lacked a full inventory of items using a new ordering system.”

“My favourite shop , have all what I love and miss from fresh made salads , fresh baked all different pastries to rye bread and delicious herrings fillets....and lots of more products that different and hard to find and buy . If you go ones you will become addicted?.. The staff is brilliant very friendly and helpful. Love this shop .”

“Been doing weekly shops here, the food is always fresh and good quality, the staff all speak when they see you, they always open up checkouts when they see someone who needs one with out being asked. The bakery has a great choice and it’s always well presented. The range is excellent and a very competitive price.”

“A little slow on the till(if you get one that actually works) smoke came off the first conveyer belt and then the second till(belt again) had a mind off its own and the poor girl on the till spent more time getting the belt to move than it took me to do my shopping. Otherwise a nice ,well spaced shop with plenty of choice (from family meals to single ones). The staff are quite funny too when things go wrong.”

“Quite a good varied choice of frozen food, also a good selection of fresh meat, fruit & veg, they also sell beer, wines & spirits, toiletries & other items. Saying that some if the items are a bit pricey. I do find the staff friendly & helpful.”

“I have only started going recently for their 1 pound Lasagna and same price Chicken Curry and Rice. There's other stuff, such as Spaghetti Bolognese that's really decent. But still, I'm only commenting cos of them ready in 10 minutes microwave Lasagna. Which now that I'm reading it out loud, doesn't really sound appealing but trust me.They make the perfect work meal. By microwaveing them 5 minutes before setting off to work and the rest a few hours later when you eat. Its filling enough, taste really nice. The bolognese sauce (ragù) actually tastes good and the beasciamella surprised me how decent it was.Take this free advice and go get yourself some of them 1 quid Lasagna!I eat them as snacks as well, instead of a doritos bag or whatever, I munch this instead. I’m old enough to remember when this was costcutter, Jackson’s & when the wind took part of the sign it became ‘sainbur ocal’ for a short while (where I go to get my ilk and bre d ?) you don’t have to be crazy to work or shop here, they’ll train you. “This Sainsbury’s changed my life, there I was, walking in….

I immediately saw flowers and they looked cheap but quite nice, they’re right beside the meal deal section and I always get the same meal deal every time, down at the end is the bakery, which contains a very conditional pizza roll that i was introduced to, some days it can be a blessing, other days it can be dry and floury (if that’s a word), there is this one worker who is lovely and me and Xabier and an Kai have gossiped with quite a lot, she makes my shopping experience quite lovely and I hope she gets promoted to CEO of Sainsbury’s, however, one bone I have to pick with Sainsbury’s is that they have made their meal deal from £3 to £3.95???

How on earth am I supposed to survive in this economy with an extra 95 pence added to the expense of my food, this is greedy and selfish of the Sainsbury’s price people because now I have to spend more money and I don’t want to spend more money because I like to spend money on other things, like chocolate or getting the bus, which I won’t need to anymore because I can now use them for free, so it sort of balances out

In evaluation, this Sainsbury’s has been very fun to shop at and I like how it looks, it’s not like these other boring Sainsbury’s, it’s got style and I respect that, thank you Sainsbury’s people, make meal deal prices lower, this is how the cost of living crisis is affecting me directly, so now I have a reason to complain about it, Ba bye.”

“Im not on to complain about the staff who are all lovely and helpful but probably on here to complain about the 'lack of staff' what is happening, you can't take on extra services, like Evri & Whoosh and not increase staff numbers (in fact there seems to be less staff than usual) . Customers are having to wait to be served or attended to at self serve while the staff are sorting parcels or 'picking' for home deliveries, ... Tesco bosses sort this out and give your staff extra help!!”

“Our local shop for the daily essentials, it’s got the nicest lady/co-owner ever, always friendly and polite. My only minor gripe is the nice lady’s husband making me remove my hood/headwear when he obviously knows me?, I fully understand this tactic for shoplifting but he knows my car, my face, my clothing…A question to ponder over I suppose?.”

“Parking was easy, hot chicken to eat straight away was in the wrong place, so I had to go though them all to find the one I wanted (not ideal when they're so hot).

“Lidl does what it says on the tin. Fresh produce is always good quality. Not so keen on the self service situation, I go to Lidl to shop not to work! I always go to the lovely lady on the checkouts. She's been there years and has great customer service skills whilst dispatching my grocery shopping efficiently.”
