I?ve been with SpecSavers as a child and starting wearing glasses when I was 7 year old and I?m now currently 33. Only problem I have with them is when I need new glasses once every 2 years and they keep pushing me to get thinning lenses and they have to then explain why when I say no. It?s a constant thing every 2 years. It?s expensive to have mine thinning down since the lenses are chunky. I?m fine with the weight on my face, always have been. Just thought I do this review for those who are thinking going with SpecSavers. Apart from that everything is all good. Only 4/5 stars just for that. I get it they got a job to do but once every 2 years for over for many years I have to explain the same thing just gets tedious.

Visited Specsavers and the service was exceptional thank you all at Barnsley, for looking after me after floaters appeared and flashing lights in my eyes. Ps they also sorted out my wife?s hearing aids. Fantastic work such a great team.

Specksavers has been great ,had a little mistake with the wrong frame but spoke to their loverly manager ,she got the correct frame sorted for me within a week & was kind enough to let me keep the others ,loverly people & speedy service ,eye exam in depth ,thank you, will always use your services .

I don't like the idea of waiting to be told my lenses hasnt arrived. I don't like the way all your private personal Information ie address etc in front of people sitting waiting. This should be private. Hearing members of staff complaining about their job isn't good either. Very unprofessional to see and hear. The waiting area is very cramped. Waiting times are ridiculous. No communication skills here. I feel I was messed around on Monday, then I get a text saying sorry you couldn't make your appointment, when I sat for 2 hours waiting to be told that my lenses had nit arrived, even after a text that was automated lol.
