The best bank I have ever been with, the staff at Barnsley are absolutely awesome people very helpful and caring polite and respectful, the security is absolutely amazing also, I would easily recommend this bank to everyone, thank you for being so kind and cool with me much love and respect to u all and all the workers everywhere in the company ?? ?? ? ? ?

Has anyone ever put money in a santander cash machine and then it came up saying system error and didnt go into your account or return the money? I put just over £500 in!!! And this has happened!!!!
I've Spent 2 days on phone to them with them saying I would receive a call from a manager witch i haven't!!!! and should receive a payment.
Today I've received a payment of £225 so i phoned them back up saying the payment they have sent me is wrong they basically said that was the amount it showed before it came up saying system error! So that's what they have sent me back!! And then told me there nothing they can do and I cant speak to anyone and and put phone down on me this is a joke when bills need to be paid!!!

I went Into the Barnsley branch today 13 December wanting to set up Internet banking. I had the most helpful young man Marley. He set it up for me straight away, showed me how to use it and switched me onto a better interest account. Thankyou so much for your help and care Marley.

I have had a account here for about 12 year's. Staff very friendly and helpful, never had any problems, yes sometimes you have to wait in line for 5, but which bank don't you,I think some people expect too much, get a bank account abroad and you have to pay for it without any benefits like the 1 2 3 account. Thank you to the staff ?

Trying to call and no one is answering, then goes off, what kind of customer service is that, when your trying to sort out a berevment, it's a very poor service people would be better off moving to another bank with better customer service

Not only do Santander close early on Saturday but their closing times throughout the week is now 3.30! Well if that?s the case, you?d think they would have there machines outside in good working order for those that may need to deposit money as they can?t get to the bank any earlier. Oh no!!For gods sakes Santander, you supposed to be there for your customers!

A few weeks ago they wanted my passport picture for safety reasons the said I sent it off with a link on an email then heard nothing .My wife went shopping filled a trolley up went to pay my card was blocked .She had her account and paid with that .We went into town and into the bank with my passport He sent it off to the business team who worked 9to4 Monday to Friday.Monday comes I phoned the up a few words were said and he opened my account again for 2 weeks and he said he will close it again in 2 weeks if he didn't get my passport Tuesday came and I phoned again saying my passport was there then he said we closed my account a day early I said I've had no emails texts or phone calls from you about this then complains team called me will give you £50 for the mistakes they have made .Sorry Santander I'm leaving now everything is moving to another bank .It's not nice since we've been with abbey then this bank took them over bye

I just can't believe a bank thinks its ok to close on a Saturday. Not everyone is available due to work commitments to get in midweek. Surely their first priority is to consider customers needs before making these decisions.
