“I moved to Ellis because my previous chemist became difficult as I needed mine delivering . There are pro and cons but a lot isn’t actually to do with the chemists it’s the drs who send things late and EXPECT the chemist to jump. On a few occasions my drs have failed , thankfully Ellis have helped me deal little issues . Yes there is a delivery window , get your prescription in early and explain that the chemist are not the doctors lapdogs .I personally would like to thank them , I am not a native to Barnsley but with my health declining and with my wife’s support . I am rebuilding what was shattered .Thank you to all the staff at Ellis , park grove . I was surprised by how little reviews you had which I felt was so wrongSir James”

“I’ve used Boots pharmacy at Dove Valley for many years and the service is outstanding. The outstanding service is due to how helpful and supportive the staff are. It’s clear how hard they work coupled clear level of empathy they have for their customers. The head pharmacist goes over and above to ensure all available support is provided, not just in services like prepaid prescriptions. Her willingness to offer advice and provide professional yet humanised support is a major skill rarely seen today. Overall every lady that works in this store are simply fantastic!”

“I’ve used this pharmacy every month for seven years to get my parents prescriptions. The staff are lovely and the service is great. Sometimes it takes longer than others but it’s a pharmacy, not a takeaway. Saying that I’ve never waited longer than 15 minutes anyway. Highly recommended.”

“My husband and I both get our prescriptions from this chemist. I always pick them up -staff always helpful- yes sometimes a queue and sometimes someone takes a bit of time to get their issue sorted. I never get put out by the wait - it could be me that has a query next time. To be fair the issues i hear raised are usually surgery oriented not something the chemist staff have created.Thank you”

“I think that the person who wrote the previous review (Asia ??? ) is writing about another Chemust Shop rather than Ellisons on Huddersfield Road as I have always found the staff their to be more than friendly and helpful., that includes their Delivery Driver too. Ian can't do enough to help, I think if you asked him to puck your shopping up fron click and collect he would and he wouldn't ask for any recompense either.The staff at that shop could give others lessons in how to be polite including Uan their Driver.I have looked this review persons name up in the Electoral register with no success they do not exist.U think it is someone bad mouthingvthese people because they have taken a dislike to them and want them to lose their jobs.But let me say thisIf you get rid of staff because of this awful review I di think you will lose a lot of customers from your books and that can only be bad news for your shop”

“Popped in on Friday morning. Was noticed immediately by the loveliest lady (I didn’t manage to get her name, blonde hair) I had the worst flu ever! Asked for some much needed Imodium. Instead of just quickly grabbing a box she was most concerned and asked how long etc. bought over the pharmacist and helped and advised. I changed from a previous Chemist to this one, for my Dad, my Sister and myself, and i wish i had done this years ago, they are so quick, so helpful and are happy to give advice, i would highly recommend. “Usually a great store, it has a little of everything, clothes, books, toys also
I do find it a little frustrating at times, I buy gluten free and lactose free, and they do have a a good section of free from, but i have noticed not everything is in this section that is free from, so I have to go looking for it, it would be alot more helpful if the section an entire section off and put everything in there thats free from, gluten and lactose free it would make my hopping trip at lot easier . But it's a great store as a whole”

“Only recently joined Asda pharmacy for electronic prescription ordering etc as I had so much stress and hassle from the previous chemist I was with.All I can say is from first asking about how to change to the Asda pharmacy to picking up my medications was brilliant, so smooth, straightforward and informative.Absolutely perfect and all persons I came into contact with were really helpful friendly and polite. They did all the electronic info change over and set up the txt messaging service for me.I’ve given 5* but if there were more I’d give them, so it’s 5+* from me.”
