The sausage sandwich was not nice at all and it was way too expensive for what it is and I don?t know why it?s so expensive should be ashamed the red sauce was revaulting and tasted like it had been there for ages not happy

Should have realised when the cafe was empty it was rubbish.Ordered a cheese and onion toastie, I got was a pathetic onion toastie!Not sure what happened to the cheese!

This Matalan store is big, spacious and very welcoming. It feels like a nice, calm shopping trip.
There have been several occasions where there are not a lot of choice in sizes available, especially for mens clothes.
Since the addition of the self-serve tills, the queues are so much better. Previously, you could be queuing for an age, but now, you can use the self-service tills and complete your trip a lot faster and more conveniently.

My absolute compliments to the lady who served me today on self checkouts. I didn't get her name unfortunately but a lovely blonde lady. She was so helpful and friendly. She advised me on how to get 20% off my shopping which saved me almost £25. She even packed everything for me even though it was self service. Great and friendly service. So thank you ?

The coffee shop in-store serves hot chocolate from a packet, not a proper hot chocolate, took one sip and left it AWFUL ?

Angie - rubbish customer service. Asked member of staff if we could leave basket outside changing room while my disabled mum tried something on and when we get out the basket of items had gone. We asked all staff, no one owned up to moving them. One item found on the rail, another jewellery bits dumped at bottom of another basket of returns. Still no one owned up to moving them. Then when waiting to pay, disabled till not in use - Angie saying there's only one till on despite not being able to stand for long. What is the point of a disabled till of staff have no intention of using it. Angie was calling for customers to use self serve, queue was getting longer and longer and she eventually gave in and jumped on a till to serve. She was stood around doing nothing and making people wait unnecessarily. A disabled person would be so tempted to throw down the items and leave. Disgusting treatment of a disabled shopper who wants to try and lead a normal life as possible. In Primark they urge disabled shoppers to walk to the front of the disabled till and be served. Matalan are going to lose customers if they can't be bothered to do their own jobs.
