I received a phone call saying they couldn't find my item in stock, even though it said it was in stock last night when I ordered it & because of these, even though I found out that the Pontefract branch had them I went elsewhere to buy it even though it cost me £2 more.

Shop is alright, some things are a tad overpriced. Website can be wrong with some info, as I ordered a motorbike battery that the site stated was an 'exact fit'. However it turned out it wouldn't even fit in a Boeing 747.
Finally got a YUASA YTX12 12v 10.5Ah 180A
Also had trouble getting a standard inner tube for a Mountain Bike due to no stock.

The service at the store was outstanding. It was efficient, friendly and courteous. Its such a same that this was spoilt by the awful experience of trying to communicate with the store to see if I could change the appointment time. Chaotic, not fit for purpose and an awfully good way of loosing customers are all phrases that spring to mind. Such a shame that this system is fronting a really good product

Gaz fitted my dash cams today. Great service from everyone in store, from booking it in a few days ago to the staff behind the tills today who went through my paperwork and Gaz himself for doing a great job at hardwiring in my front and rear cameras. Highly recommend.

We recently visited the Halfords Bike Centre at Cortonwood in search of a bike for our son. Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, clearly explaining all the features of the bike we eventually purchased. He also provided us with valuable advice and support throughout the process.
Josh took the time to listen to our needs and thoroughly discussed our options, helping us choose the right bike, the correct size, and the necessary accessories to ensure our son?s safety. His excellent service made the experience both easy and enjoyable.
