Came here as a stop off during the summer and had an absolutely fantastic experience! This place truly has something for everyone. First off, the food was incredible. From hearty pub food to more refined dishes, everything we had for a family of 6 was delicious and well-prepared. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring there?s something to satisfy every palate, especially for the kids!
One of the standout features is the children?s play area. It?s spacious, safe, and filled with fun activities to keep the little ones entertained. As a parent, it?s such a relief to find a place where the kids can play while we enjoy our meal.
The drink selection is also impressive. They have a wide range of options, from local craft beers to fine wine. Whether you?re a beer enthusiast or prefer something a bit more sophisticated, you?ll find plenty to choose from. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. I highly recommend the chestnut tree for a family-friendly outing or a casual night out with friends. We?ll definitely be back!

I am a local in the Chestnut tree . Last week I had a bad week with an anniversary nof a friend's death and two friends died this week . I went for a quiet pint after work to chill out and to have moment. . 2 staff. Holly White and deveon saw that I was not my usual self. .went above and beyond to make sure I was ok through talking and just spending time with me. . these two ladies deserve recognition for how they made me feel . Thank you so much

Was here on Saturday 14th of September for a meal to celebrate mine and my son's birthday with a large group of people.
Lots of our food was over cooked or under cooked. Some things still frozen.
We told waiter staff items was missing and at first expected us to shear a sause even thought we paid for more.
Over all very disappointed as this is totally opposite to our first experance here , definitely will not return now as it's gone down hill.
