Bar closed at 22:00 without any member of staff asking if we would like anymore drinks before we close I was refused a drink at 22:00 but the smug guy who works in the Kitchen who could do with a shower was pouring himself a pint at the time and was very rude. £27 for a bottle of wine it's DONCASTER not London £11 for Double Gin and Tonic. I'll stick to Scarborough in future.

Terrible service, came in with my children and wife for a nice sit down meal and told by a server that we should try another restaurant that would be more suitable for my children, even though they also wanted to eat there. Server made us feel that we were not welcome. Didn?t even get past the entrance area. Disgusting.

Went in was greeted by a waitress was told it'd be two minutes for a table left stood for 5 minutes asked the bus boy where we would be sat he pointed us to our table sat down. No menus were given or drinks order after 5 minutes I went up and asked for menus to be told that they didn't even open for half an hour yet but they had a sign out front that said open and were not informed that the resturant was not open yet when we were stood waiting to be sat, disgraceful service from staff that are clueless

Let's very honest,it was the only restaurant open after 6pm,so im single disabled adult,I went for 1night,it was the worst service ever,I wrnt in at 6pm left at 7.20pm,i asked twice for my desert,nothing,people wirh family's kept coming in i was totally ignored,after 20 mi s u had had enough, I got the manager over,who brought my desert o told her I was too annoyed after asking twice for it,was it because of eas on my own and disabled I had such bad service?the mains was ok, but she said it it was busy,I get it but it doesn't mea. They could ignore you either!so i did quite make up for it at breakfast, woth a nice hot chocolate with mini marshmallow and cream,it was nice and a nice smiling meet and greet lady ,I told her about the night before,she tried to make it om,so that's why the low score of course there busy,people who stayed overnight at the hex hotel,needed food,and nothing else after 6pm was open if it was i couldn't find anything
Example coka cola £3. All over the park in vending machines by the giraffe didnt work,and card only
Luckily by the lepoard it worked but again £3.95,when your thirsty you don't always want water!so over priced huggies at the lodge were £2 and normally from £1 in most places!take things with you, very disappointed

Are here the night of our stay and the food was delicious, my wife and I had a chicken Caesar salad and our daughter sausage and mash and we all enjoyed it! Also had breakfast the morning after our stay and again would say it was great! Not badly priced for drinks or food! Staff we very friendly especially Alex who looked after us on both occasions! Would definitely visit again!

Spent a small fortune here! There's one staff member petite with dark hair in a pony tail she's so rude it's unbelievable, if you ask her anything she will clearly pull faces right Infront of you! She really doesn't want to be at work

Had evening meal and breakfast here. Waiting staff very attentive and informed, food was great and ready in a timely manner.
Want to share my particular appreciation for the breakfast buffet providing oat milk for lactose intolerant/vegan guests. Much appreciated.

What a great place to dine out, relaxing atmosphere, good surroundings & and excellent food served by great staff.
We had the steak & Salmon meals, all came freshly prepaired & hot.
Incredible tastes & quality, best flavours we've had in a long time.
Highly recommended.

Rubbish food burnt and dry had to send back other ate but jacket potato was dry as hell and quiche was dreadful
Was advised gluten menu options was available
No they wasn?t at all had to look at a folder of ingredients to organise our own meal

I dined here this afternoon with my three-year-old son and my mother, the service was exceptionally slow and the waitresses were almost, well, hard to explain it, but like they didn?t want to be there. My mum had to send her meal back as it was freezing cold which took another 25 minutes to be returned where she had to eat on her own. Bill came to £78. We had bought desserts, wine and we had no check back whatsoever. Whenever we wanted something we had to usher for a waitress to come, baring in mind there were only three other tables in when we were there. when we asked for the bill and the waitress brought it over, my mum voiced our concerns regarding what we had experienced, all we got was sorry about that and a card machine pushed in her face. This is by the waitress called Fay who was extremely rude. Did not want to hear or listen to any of our concerns just wanted us to pay the bill and leave clearly. we asked to speak to the manager after this appalling service and reaction to which we were refunded for my mothers meal. We never complained for a refund we never wanted to not pay our meal. However if the complaint was dealt with correctly we would?ve been more than happy, however it appears possibly the waitresses need some more training regarding being a waitress as such or new staff who genuinely want to work there. there was however one waitress who seated our table I don?t remember her name however she had a hearing piece in and she was only young and she was brilliant. She recited back our order. She was more than attentive but then she must?ve gone home or on her dinner and ever since that the service just declined rapidly. This is a real shame as every other time we have been regular customers It has been fine but this one time and the way that it was dealt with by Faye I am unsure as to whether we will be returning.
another thing to add is when we discussed with manager regarding the poor food, he told us it was because the chef was in a bad mood, huh!?

The food was not very well cooked (sausages, bacon, even the hash browns). They only had watermelon for fruit and it had gone bad already! And in general, in terms of flavour, it was bland?

Very disappointed! Eaten here before and it was okay, but this time, very slow service, had fish and chips, fish was nice , chips were rock hard and no butter on the bread, chicken nuggets overcooked and hard, will not be returning!
