One of our bands booked a practice room back in February however when they turned up non one was there to meet them and the practice rooms were locked. They called and emailed with no response. A refund is yet to be sent, and the studios have ignored every email, call, and social media message.

I do not usually write bad reviews but here we are. Back in February my band and I booked a practice room for 3 hours. When we got there the studio was locked. We waited for about the next 45 minutes, calling and knocking on the door, but nothing.
I paid in advance so had lost out on money. I called and emailed and it took over a month to finally get a phone call set up soo we could discus a refund. The refund was agreed on and I was told I would get my money back in 5 working days...this did not happen.
About nearly 3 months later and I am yet to get my money back. I essentially paid for nothing. I have left voice messages, Facebook messages, emails and have had no response. Its not loads of money and I imagine this will now never be resolved, but I could have done with it and don't appreciate the annoyance of it all. Sorry for the long rant everyone else.

Sick of having no choice but to use this place. Owner is never there, never answers his phones or texts, multiple times my band and I have been locked out of the building in the cold with all our equipment and ended up missing practice completely. You physically cannot get a refund as no one responds to the calls or emails you make. A lot of broken equipment, including amps that just stop working randomly. When it?s good there, it?s great. But 9 times out of 10 it?s not. If anyone knows any other places my band and I can rehearse please let us know because we are sick of being taken advantage of here

Want to say how great this studio is in Doncaster.
I am a student at Manchester studying Music Technology and Performance.
I am originally from Retford and had a uni dissertation to complete for music tech.
I needed all the knowledge and help I could get so I searched for studios nearby.
Supanova came up so I gave them a call.
I managed to book a 3 hour slot to learn about engineering and microphone techniques.
This was extremely helpful.
The studio is unbelievable.
3 rehearsal rooms, a control room and a recording booth, all sound proof!
From the minute you walk in to the building your are blown away with the amount of silver, gold and platinum award discs that are mounted on the walls.
This place has got a real good vibe.
I still cannot believe it is in Doncaster!
It?s amazing!
I learned so much in just a short space of time.

Outstanding professionalism.
Our up and coming band have recently spent a number of days at the one and only Supanova studios.
The owner and expert (let?s say the brains) behind it all has an unbelievable attention to detail.
We originally booked a 4 hour slot to record a couple of our demos.
After 2 hours there we ended up booking in for a further 3 days.
We spent 4 days at supanova studios and recorded 4 songs to to start our album.
This guy is just amazing.
Totally understands all aspects of music and is extremely patient when listening to what you are really trying to achieve in your own personal sound.
Not only does Supanova studios record and engineer music they also offer rehearsal rooms at a great price and for the room only.
They also do not charge a price per head it?s for the whole room by the hour.
Me and my band of 6 members have booked an ongoing slot weekly.
We book the studio 1 with the mirrors and it is just perfect and huge with all the equipment you can imagine.
It is only £18 per hour.
There are 2 more rehearsal rooms there at £16 and £14 with again great space.
On top of all they have to offer they also do pop star parties for all ages.
Is there anything supanova studios cannot do??
We are so glad that we found this gem of a place and it is in Doncaster!
My daughter is learning the drums there now and is able to do a bit of singing when the owner is free to set up the mic?s for her.
Great place.

Disappointing. I rarely write negative reviews and would give zero stars if I could. Rang and booked for a 1 hour recording session following a Groupon voucher received for my birthday. Booking was confirmed via text. I was excited about attending the Supernova Studios and booked a day off work. Turned up at allocated date, time, studio was open, but noone was there. Rang both numbers, left voicemail, sent a text forwarding booking confirmation. Even wrote a message on their whiteboard in reception area explaining I had waited an hour. Waited a week for someone to contact me with an explanation. No contact. My relative who had made the booking also rang asking for a callback - no response. Despite the company requesting I send the Groupon voucher upon booking, Groupon refunded the voucher even though it had already been cashed by the company as I provided proof the booking had not been honoured. I would not recommend booking with this company.

What an amazing place!! I Went with my son and his cousins for a recording experience and it truely was fabulous. Patient, friendly and great with the kids. I would definitely recommend this studio ??
