Recently had a bathroom done. Ordering was a shambles as simple things were not ordered with my bathroom. The installer assigned by Wickes didn't turn up, costing me 3 days pay. Started the job a month later and has just finished after destroying a landing wall and 2 months after starting. A sham of Cowboys and cowboy workman. KEEP AWAY!

I used to shop here but will no longer do so after the Chief Operating Officer of Wickes said that 90% of his customers were slightly ignorant and that bigots like me (who believe that men can't become women just by saying so and shouldn't have access to women's changing rooms and showers) weren't welcome in his stores. It's fine Mr Longden, I'll get my new worktops and tiles elsewhere. Perhaps you and Gerald Ratner could start a PR consultancy together when Wickes goes down the tubes.

Easy to order online, prompt and polite driver. Ordered shingle for summer house base, which was as described and did the job perfectly.

The designer Colin did not order correctly. It took 3 weeks instead of one week to finish and 6 weeks to remove the rubbish. Whilst the end result is acceptable the journey to get it completed has been a nightmare.

Went to look at kitchen units because we saw that they had a 40% sale on selected items. Sadly the nicest units we saw were not in the sale offer. I found the assistant very helpful and willing to talk to us but even so the prices were very expensive. We have also seen similar items in Howdens kitchen range which we might opt for in the near future.

My wife and I has just had a new kitchen purchase from Yeovil store and we are over the moon with the kitchen units and the installer Simon he was very professional and cleaned up every day after he had finished for the day the rest of the team was first class thankyou Andy's team and thankyou wickes
