Stopped here looking for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately, not on, but there was a menu. So we stayed for a bite. Customers and staff are really friendly, especially our very own waiter, the pub dog. The pub itself is undergoing a renovation of sorts as it's a grade 2 listed building. Would be good to go back in 12 months.

Fantastic pub. Staff are friendly, and the food is great. Live entertainment on a Saturday night appears to be a fairly regular event.
The owners, Colin and Carrie, are very nice with many stories to tell. They've clearly put a lot of work in since buying the place last year.

Lovely place with great owners. The staff were friendly and offered great service. The outdoor area is great and is receiving lots of attention from the new owners. Will be return and looking forward to seeing how the inn changes in the future!Dietary restrictions: Sunday lunch has a gluten free option, including gravy!

I join a tradition music (mostly English & Irish) session here every 3rd Wednesday night. As others have already said, the new owners Carrie & Colin are really hospitable and I'm sure will give you a warm welcome. Not only is this a wonderful inn but the owner Colin was incredibly kind when we had some car trouble outside his inn. He fixed our problem in no time at all and got us on our way safely. It is so so nice these days to find a helping hand and a friend when in need. Thank you so much Colin for your kindness. We are in cornwall because of you!
