Item I bought was cheap but the person I was with had a horrendous experience with a rude member of staff whose customer experience training was none existent. He thought it was funny to have a giggle with a colleague when he was asked do they stock a certain item. Think Al with Married With Children and that's the characters you are dealing with at this store.

Dire.. Staff were more concerned with stacking boxes and gossiping than helping. Didn't like the non service I received, Didn't bother. I walked out of the store...Theres Info about why SDs goods are cheaper and dont last as long as elsewhere online (reddit)

Been here a few times, mostly for new shoes. The staff are always really friendly and there is a good range of prices. Always happy to go back.

Brill prices !!!!!! Women kids and mens !!! Fantastic variety. Shoe measure .. interesting to look round only tip would be to include a customer toilets for familys there's no toilets on the shopping estate.

Rubbish making any Excuse to be rude not to accept returns. Purchased a T-shirt as Christmas present with a gift receipt.
I released might a bit small for them.
I returned with Gift receipt
Still tagged in original Condition.
Manager made out a Excuse to blackmail me saying as been washed also the tagged looked as removed & knotted on.
I tried to ask another staff on another till. Manager as rude back saying he only works there.

My wife bought shoes which she kept till we went on holiday. The strap broke the first day she wore them.Because they were just out of warranty period Sports Diirect refused any refund or exchange. Won't be shopping there again

The worst customer service and staff I?ve ever come across. Can?t spell a name right on a £55 football top. Because I signed my receipt however, I wasn?t told what I was signing it for! It?s fully their fault for lack of staff training and not informing customers to check the spelling of personalised items yet Sports Direct will not take responsibility at all. No exchange or refunded despite having spent £300 plus travelling just to shop in the store. Passed the buck to online customer services who are just as useless. Spent weeks emailing back and forth, got no customer service. Not even given the stores managers contact. Useless telephoning. No answer. Generic emails. Take your money and don?t care.

Went to by some trainers for gym sessions. The assistant Jess pointed out that the ones I had chosen were a fashion trainer and not suitable for running or gym sessions.It?s nice to see someone take the time to make sure the customer gets a product which is suitable

Bought some trainers for my son who wasn't with us. Asked if we could return for a refund if they didn't fit and was told 'yes'. Didnt fit so went back next day. The same member of staff told us there only an exchange or credit policy and blatantly lied in front of us to the manager saying they didn't say it. Manager fobbed us off toto email customer service who eventually emailed back to say it was dependent on condition(brand new!) and manager feedback. What do they think the managers going to say?! Spend a few hundred pounds a year in there normally with trainers and stuff for our Thursday night football(lose at least one ball a week in the river) but will buy online from now on. Customer service and Sports Direct shouldn't be used in the same sentence.
