I purchased a pair of wellies that were the wrong size.
The member of staff (I believe he was a Scottish gentleman) swapped them for the correct size.
Very helpful, good old fashioned customer service with no dramas, which is refreshing in this day and age.
Also purchased a Sthil chainsaw today at the lowest price I've seen anywhere

Only small but well stocked shop got exactly what I went for

No wonder Mole Valley Farmers is facing a financial crisis! The stock and service in the shop is okay, but the yard is worse than hopeless. The service is terrible, nobody there seems to know anything about the stock or the prices. They can cope with a bag of mixed corn but anything else is too difficult for them. Both of my last visits took over two hours of trying to sort out, then waiting for someoine with the forklift to collect from the yard and bering to the waiting area. Absolutely hopeless.

What can I say, mole valley Yeovil are just amazing. Every time I go in from pig food to dog stuff it?s just a pleasure. I have been trying to find a certain type of dog bed for my four labs for the boot room and when instore today they had one.
However I needed four, Stephan McClurkin was a superstar and advised me where I could get the other three I needed (nothing is ever to much bother for the team there).
And when I called back later I spoke to Ben Corser who went and got the last bed put it to one side for me to collect the next morning. He messaged me back to say he had done this also.
But this is only one example of the service you get in this store. Every member of the team just seem to go the extra mile for any customer. It?s a great store with staff who know what they are talking about and are happy and a pleasure to deal with.
I can?t rate this store highly enough.

A handy local place for getting anything for country living and working. For some stupid reason they have decided to remove empty boxes to put your purchases in, when you buy chunky, heavy awkward things a plastic bag is useless especially when placed in your 4x4 etc

Really disappointed with customer service today. Was called across to a till as another had a huge queue. Till operative dealt with a gutter purchase which was prolonged and then put a till closed infront of me and with no apology told me to go to the other till putting me back of queue. Protested but she didn't even have the courage to look up and explain. I have the times etc if needed. Heard her say to a manager she needed her lunch.
I've worked in retail. You don't do that.
