On 6th October 2023, my Chrysler Grand Voyager (reg. KN57KXA) was left overnight at Lynx MOTs in Yeovil, ready for its MOT the next morning. At 7:38am, while the car was stationary with the handbrake on, a Howdens articulated lorry (MX67EYZ, driven by Adam Brown) reversed into it. The impact pushed my vehicle into a wall and completely wrote it off.
This was a hit-and-run the driver drove away without stopping. The whole incident is captured on CCTV, clearly showing the collision and my car being shunted forward. My vehicle, valued at £3,295 with just 91,000 miles, was destroyed.
Despite having CCTV evidence and sending multiple letters (including to Howdens head office, FAO Andrew Livingston, CEO, and to their claims handler TPA in Milton Keynes), I have had no settlement, no confirmation of liability, and almost no communication. Other than one phone call, Howdens have ignored this completely.
It is now almost two years since the incident, and I am still left with the loss of my car, ongoing storage costs, and zero accountability from Howdens. For a national company, this silence and refusal to address a clear case of damage caused by their driver is appalling.
Until Howdens take responsibility and resolve this, I cannot recommend them in any capacity. Customers and the public deserve honesty, professionalism, and accountability ? none of which I have experienced. Customers and the public deserves a trustworthy company, not silence!

I am delighted with my new Howdens kitchen and the whole process from start to finish. Thank you to Jason Parsons for the excellent design which is just what I wanted and to Martin who delivered and stacked the new units singlehandedly.Alan and Graham at Almar Home installed everything with meticulous care and great skill. Lastly, I am very impressed with the quality, amount of choice and value for money of the Howdens products.

This is a kitchen shop for trade only. It sells kitchens and the bits you need but only to trade customers.

They mainly deal with trade customers. However Having fitted a Howden Kitchen some years ago. One part got damaged. I called in the see them. I explained what had been damaged. They replaced it and did not charge me. I was not expecting that. I am not saying that they may not do it that for every one but was very grateful for their service. Hence my 5 stars.

Not to impressed with they after sales service, ordered a cooker here and had it fitted by a local tradesman. Noticed that one of the rubber feet was missing on the hob grate so it was uneven,went down to Howdens to see if they could get me the rubber part and was meet with the attitude of"no we can,t get those, go away"responce,the member of staff just wasn't interested so when they disappeared back in to the warehouse,i took one from the display cooker,result
