It?s a good place if you want to go for a swim and it?s £5 so it?s okay. However, most places in the area are closed such as the sauna. Different substances in the pool which can give you a rash or make your hair messed up due to the kids peeing in the pool. But other than that it?s alright but changes can be made.

Reluctant to give even one star. Went with my partner who is disabled, for specialist exercises as advertised by hospital. Led by an insolent man who seemed to have little regard for my partners disabilities. Would NOT recommend. Have since found much more professional service elsewhere at same price.

Came here on a school night with my family , all staff at the reception rude and uninterested, changing rooms smelt of urine and just felt grubby as did the pool, it was cold and all staff scowling and rude , definitely won't be returning here ever

I will be Karen here : Sauna has been closed for at least 2 years - Entrance door broken at least 2 months , dirty floor in changing area - there is more hair on the floor than in Turkish barber in Istanbul. Back of changing room smell of pee. They put membership fees - at least they could fix the sauna. Friendly staff.

Very rude staff at the swimming lessons for kids, my husband shouted at by staff, no seating to view kids, after a refit, no thought gone into the design of this place at all, heard many complaints by the public And even their own staff would give zero if allowed

A disappointing quick in-and-out experience.
Sauna, closed (and busted).
Kid pool, closed.
Only remaining pool, half closed for lessons + COLD temperature.
FYI, this would've costed you like £7. It was free for us because we got the free day-pass from their promotion, which included gym access. (We registered for the promo online, but they ended up needing to redo the registration in person at the main desk because the online registration doesn't actually work. They seem to all know it doesn't work but seems like nothing is done about it.)
Gym was locked; couldn't get in. No instructions on how to.
Believe the other reviewers when they say that their babies screamed upon entering the water due to cold water temperature?our 15 m.o. did the exact same thing they described, and was stiff and shivering in the water, and our kid loves water, so the only variable is the temperature. It was cold even for my wife and I. Now, I'm not a precise thermometer, but it felt like it was around 24-25 degrees Celcius. It was at a temperature that if you weren't constantly moving, you'd be cold. We ended up leaving the pool after 5 minutes or so.
Yeah, overall, kind of nuts that without the promo, you'd be paying full price for half a cold pool and nothing else.
NOT WORTH IT.
The Crewkerne Aqua Centre (20 min drive away) is better, and actually warm.

Really disappointed, we rung up a couple hours before arriving at the pool. To book a slot, to be told we didn?t need to book just turn up. We turned up driving half an hour to be told we would have to wait half an hour. We have a 2 year old and 5 week old so we weren?t going to wait. Needs to have a booking system in place.

Got a decent gym and pool but it's a shame it doesn't look like they are going to fix the sauna so will have to find somewhere else

I am very disappointed, I became a member in the hope of using the sauna, it turned out to be out of order and I was told it will not be operating for the foreseeable future. I will have to look for another gym.

It's a shame after the upgrade in the changing rooms they have let it get filthy and mouldy again. Trying to find out information about upgrading my membership and I got brushed off, woman was quite rude and kept giving different answers to the same question regarding how upgrading to the full membership works. We've decided to cancel our membership and go elsewhere. The fact you don't get free parking either when using the facilities is not great either when this is offered at every other gym in yeovil. I'd rather pay more for nicer facilities and staff.

The range of equipment in the gym is sufficient. It is usually not too busy, so can use the machines as you wish. It's clean and tidy. Good aircon. A few lockers are available in the gym (or you can keep a small bag with you). Trainers and staff are friendly and professional.

me and my friend went swimming today and i personally love the swimming pool. but when we started drowning. yes, actually drowning today because i tried to help her in the deep end and she accidentally dragged me down. i repeatedly held my arm out of the water and waved it for help, no lifeguards helped. i don?t know if they saw but nobody came to the rescue and helped. luckily, we managed to survive. Afterwards i was left shaking and iam still shook up by it. I think the lifeguards need to open their eyes a bit more and notice when someone is in danger.
