“Could not recommend this place enough, I always come out with more than I needed because there is so much! Always so clean and tidy. Staff are some of the best in the Quedam shopping centre, very lovely ladies always there for a chit chat, always happy to help and will go above and beyond to do so. My son and daughter love going in too so much so that my daughter will actually go out of her way to go in and say hi to "the girls" (as she calls them)”

“As ever, everything you need, nothing you don't, and all at sensible prices. Yes, there are some items you could probably find cheaper elsewhere, but by the time you've driven to that elsewhere, any potential savings have been negated by the cost of getting there, so why would you??But, the new look store at Houndstone serves my purpose very nicely thank-you, it has an enlarged freezer section AND now sells clothing and associated items, what's not to like??What DOES brass me off is that the pond life still persist in stealing from these places, why?? It's not like everything is stinking dear? Anyway, nuff said, Poundland get my vote every time!”

“My wife and I go to this store at least once a month and get all of household items, mostly all good value for money. Staff we found are mostly pleasant and helpful, can sometimes be a bit of a wait at tills with problems not necessarily created by there staff. All in all not a bad place to get all your bits n pieces. At the time of our visit there was a good Christmas selection of items, shortbread biscuits to name but one!”

“If you are searching for low cost products with a large product range poundland is definitely one of the best choices. It is actually big enough and you can surely find some bargains. But be aware that not all the products are great offers even though they cost only one pound each, you can actually find them cheaper elsewhere thus a thorough market search is advisable. The tools counter is my favourite and I suggest you to try this range of products. My overall impression is that this store is actually one of the best Poundlands i have ever been.”
