Oh wow. Callong to an hour to get my prescriptopn transferred to another Asda Pharmacy as my dad just died and they closed 3 hours early 'becaise of a. Pharmacy energency' having already claimed my prescription so it can't be released to another pharmacy. I look forward to someone at Asda head office reviewing the phone call as when I asked why they had not notified customers and why my prescriptio. Had been claimed am easy the lady (Manager she said she was Jxxxx) said I was rude. I wasn't and it's too too easy to preten that a customer has been rude or unpleasant when they are querying something in order to gain the upper hand. I had always left good reviews but not removed them.

Great shopping

Made the mistake of having a home delivery from here, now I remember why I stopped using home delivery 5yrs ago but was too busy to go in last week.
So requested a mid afternoon slot but received an email just after 7am to tell me my order had been picked but there were 3 items not available and 4 substitutes, of course there would be at that time of day as the shelves hadnt been restocked from the day before, so not a good start.
Delivery arrived 30 mins early, on checking my order as I was unpacking it 5 items had very short shelf life of 2 or 3 days (no good when you are doing a weekly shop) and my ice creams had clearly defrosted as the cardboard boxes were soggy.
Requested a refund on some items due to short life, refund rejected on some. Had to put a few items in the freezer due to short life but subsequently I took some southern fried chicken breasts out of the freezer for lunch today and had to throw them away, the stench of sulphur and rotting smell as I opened the packet was horrendous, clearly the frozen and chilled foods had not been kept at the correct temperatures after picking.
Certainly won't be using their delivery service ever again.
As to the store, as others have mentioned its really gone down hill the past couple of years, there's no point going in on a Monday or before 9 the rest of the week as the shelves are empty and you have to do battle with not only the shelf stackers or the home shopping pickers, a few are quite obnoxious, to note one in particular the young lad with the mullet.
Managment/supervision is very poor in the chilled department, every time I go shopping I will see numerous items with new longer expiry dates shoved infront of short life stuff.
Distinct lack of checkout staff these days, dont even know why they bother with the men's clothing section as its pathetic.
Going to try out Ocado this week, see if they are any better, only use Asda for its convenience to home but a few family members go elsewhere now because of how poor the place is getting, no wonder they are losing marketshare every year.

I have had a harrowing experience at this shop. Staff members are very rude and racist. They actively practice racist behavior towards customers. I wouldn?t recommend anyone who is not part of majority to feel comfortable shopping in this shop. I will never ever come here again. You won?t believe that the manager supported a staff member that profiled and the other that insulted me, no remorse no apology and to them everything is justifiable.

Asda yeovil is usually a good store however some staff are rude to customers and the management would be advised that at busy times they should reduce queues at busy stations like the pizza counter and have more than one member of staff trying to clear a back log of more than 30 people

It always seems a bit chaotic. Doesn't matter what time you visit we always have to dodge shelf stickers and stock on pallets.

DO NOT COME HERE!. Parking spaces were awful!. People outside there cars yelling and smoking. My 4 year old was coughing because of that man smoking and laughed. Very rude temper. Staff are nice. One lady with short brown hair very polite :) the only worst thing are the men smoking. Be careful around when u have children around them!. The food in the Asda is very good
Bacon and cheese wrap I always get. The terrible incident outside with people arguing, a guy in a car nearly scratch ours. I am very DISAPPOINTED. There was noSecurity so anyone can just steal and there was a lot of alarming noises and none of the staff even bothered to check if anyone is stealing

Bought a pizza deal off the counter and when we ate it, it didn?t taste right. Called Asda and spoke to Jenny who was unbelievably helpful.
Not only did she agree to refund the pizzas, she replaced them with different ones and gave a small Asda voucher for the future. The simple fact that she asked questions to find out why it happened so it can be prevented again was remarkable customer care. Cannot stress enough how little you see this these days in customer service, very impressed.
