So many pubs are gastropubs these days, this is different. A pub serving restaurant quality food. We dined on Wednesday where their supper club menu gives you two courses for £20 or three courses for £25 plus £10 off a bottle of wine. The food was amazing our favourite being the crispy duck and watermelon salad. The ambience is great with both a mix of casual and formal diners as well as locals enjoying a pint from the well aportioned bar. Having dined here a few years ago when the food was also great it's good to see they haven't sat on their laurels.. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Weston.

Amazing pub, food was so much better than you would expect from a pub i had the steak and it was excellent. They were great with the kids and the portions were good.

We enjoyed a mid week lunch with a perfectly cooked steak, and a delicious homemade soup. Service was friendly and polite. Great choice of drinks too. I only gave atmosphere 3 stars as it was very quiet. We?ll be back

We booked for lunch after a dog walk, and found The Plough via a Google search of the area. The staff were very welcoming and attentive the whole time we were there. The interior of the pub is very well decorated and there is a good outside space, where we sat in the sunshine. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great choice of dishes even on a Sunday, where they had the full menu available as well as a roast. The portions were huge and everything tasted amazing. The prices were also very reasonable.

Super relaxed Sunday afternoon with my daughter. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food was amazing, well worth the money. Would recommend.

Really happy family of four - (two young kids). We visited on our way back from camping at Mendip Activity Centre and we were so pleased with our choice. A really lovely welcome and amazing food. Such a good variety of food, and reasonable prices. A great kids menu and lots of deals to take advantage of. We will definitely be back!

Used to live locally but moved to the other side of the world & were back visiting the area, decided to pop in to an old favourite (although appears to be new management/owners since we were last there). Visited for a mid week lunch, was reasonably busy & were told on arrival there would be a delay on ordering food, we were in no rush & happy to wait & in the end it didn't really take that long. It was good to see management looking after their staff workload & not just taking as many orders as possible & expecting them to cope. Also managing customer expectations & then exceeding them. Food was great too!

Really welcoming place. The specials are really good offer in the week and proper chief food.
Parking: Large car park at rear of pub.
Kid-friendliness: Always so helpful, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access through front of pub into bar.

Great service and atmosphere. I has the special, which was a vegetable risotto and it was very good. Made properly without cream and I really enjoyed it.

We (4 adults) visited on our way to Bristol Airport (only 10 minutes away). We opted for the tasty light lunchtime offer, beer battered fish & crispy chips with a small portion of minted mushy peas & tartare. Good choice of drinks included. Dog friendly and warm welcome from hosts

So good, we had to return.
Service and food were absolutely excellent (and I have now noticed some vegan and vegetarian items on the menu, so I'll be bringing some veggie friends too...).
And... fabulous to discover, no more sporty cars (without blue badges) hogging the disabled spaces.
Thanks for making my mother's (belated) birthday supper very good.

Great service, great food, reasonable prices...
My only complaint is about the disabled parking spaces - only 3 spaces near the entrance, all used, 2 of them by sporty cars without blue badges... Dear Plough Management, some of us really can't walk from the back of the car park, so please manage this issue.
