I cannot express how great this business is. I do not live locally but I contacted the cafe through messenger and asked for a special request to deliver a ploughman's and cakes to relatives who live in the village as a big thank you gift. Mother Hen's owner went so out of her way and the recipients have said how lovely the food and cakes were. I cannot recommend highly enough!! Thank you so very much! ??

What a wonderful addition to Wrington! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delightful?especially the ice creams, which are simply fantastic! It?s clear that a lot of care goes into everything they do.

What a little gem. We had the most incredible bacon butties and the coffee is lovely too. Will certainly be back to sample some of the yummy looking cakes!

I visited this lovely little place today for the first time, what a gem! The food was delicious, something for everyone, including gluten free choice. It was such a friendly atmosphere & there were lots of fab gifts to buy (I couldn't resist the Jellycat bunnies). I will definitely be visiting again. Great place!

Stopped in here after a walk from Congresbury. Great range of homemade toasties, sandwiches and soup. We had a Chorizo & Feta toastie and Leek & Potato soup. Staff really friendly, a great little cafe would recommend folks

We had just dropped our cat at the nearby Langford veterinary school, and drove through en route back to the M5. Coffee (from Wogan Coffee in Bristol) is really delicious, and lunch of a toastie and a (very generous) portion of butternut squash soup were really good, served really quickly by very friendly staff. Very nice place to stop!
