Just had a lovely breakfast here. Hot, delicious vanilla latte with a tasty gluten free bacon sandwich. Both perfect. Husband had a bacon and egg sandwich on soft, fluffy granary bread with a cappuccino, also delicious. Very friendly staff. Pleasant background music, not too loud. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Can only speak for the coffee, we broke our journey here off m5 south. Had a warm welcome from staff. Lovely filter coffees. Plenty of seats inside and out. No onnsite parking but free public carpark a minute away.
Looks like some lovely home made cakes and good choices for brunch and lunch and all day breakfasts. Very reasonable prices, all home made...

We popped in yesterday for lunch whilst in the area for a couple of days. So pleased we did, friendly welcoming service & one of the best sandwiches I?ve ever had. Wonderfully fresh, thick granary bread & proper home carved ham. My husband?s club sandwich looked amazing. Really generous portions, great value for money. We would definitely return.

Well, what can I say? Three words: Home cooked food. We come across this cute, homely cafe on our way through and decided to take a chance as all the other food options in the area seemed to be really expensive and over the top when we just wanted a simple meal to tide us over for the day. Theres a free communal car park just up the road, the restaurant is hidden away on the junction but is fantastic! Such friendly staff, the two ladies are a wonder to this world and probably a rarity nowadays: so lovley and genuinely helpful. The food was clearly home made and tasted great, good portions too!

Excellent village coffee shop near the 'Strawberry Line'
Lou, Tracey, and Carol are very pleasant and and they amplify the relaxed and convivial atmosphere and surroundings
Give it a go. Ignore the 1* reviews, 5* all the way.

Our first visit to the village, came in with my husband and father in law, absolutely lovely atmosphere and the ladies were lovely! My husband?s a coeliac and much to our shock they were able to do a gluten free cheese and onion salad and he devoured it.We had the Bakewell Tart Cake? it was incredible.Really enjoyed our visit and it really added something special to our visit!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options available! And the bread wasn?t the horrible dry bread!!

Very friendly and quaint cafe. The staff were very kind and hospitable. Great menu options that are suited for all types of dietry requirements. My sister and I were very happy with our panini's and freshly made coffee and walnut cake slice. Would highly recommend! :)Vegetarian options: You are able to pick what you would like in the panini or sandwiches. They have soups on offer and veggie breakfasts. They have nut roasts on Sundays and plenty of other veggie/gluten free foods on request.Parking: There is a free carpark very close to The Pantry.Kid-friendliness: Families are more than welcome here. If in a big group, probably best to ring before going to ensure there's enough space, as it's not an overly large venue.
