Lovely cafe! Friendly helpful staff. Great food, and nice decor. Very clean and bright. Beautiful different secluded garden in the back. We had issues with one of our bikes and the staff were super helpful! Thank you very much!

Very good long black with a cute mini milk bottle there today. Recommend the coffee highly, can't say for anything else as that's all I had. Staff very friendly, recycled 2 plastic water bottles for me as the public bin was full.

Sat outside. Watched the world go by.
Lovely service from Tasmin.
Tasty simple menu. We had a Toastie and some Olives.
Smoothie was delicious.

Great coffee shop with a lovely little 'veranda' outside where you can sit, enjoy your coffee/whatever, and watch the world go by - or at least as much of the world that happens to be passing through Chew Magna at that time! Coffee was good - I had a skinny latte which was strong enough without blowing my head off; they also had a decaff cappucino that my wife had.

We wanted to go there from Bristol specifically to check it out. Sadly it showed that it was closed, yet people were inside clearly eating and drinking. We were there at a time it was meant to be open. No one came to see that we were right there outside and interested in trying it out. So my review is based purely on a lack of awareness and customer service, which I believe is an integral and fundamentally important area of any local small business. Perhaps they just didn?t see us, so I have raised the review level because of that. We did however go to a lovely pub opposite for a nice coffee and warm and friendly staff so our trip wasn?t in vain.

We very much enjoyed our late lunch at the Moondance. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a very tasty goulash soup, and the owner Alex kindly emailed me the recipe. This was our second visit to Chew Magna, and we will be visiting again. Recommend.

Lovely staff, delicious food and coffee with a great friendly ambiance.
Lots of locals seem to gather regularly to catch up.

Absolutely beautiful specially tailored veggie concoction at the moon dance today! Highly recommend and in particular to go for a walk around the lake and village after. The chef and staff are totally adorable too! Go eat there.

Nice and cosy.Inside and outdoor seating plus garden patio area at the back ideal for summer months. Polite welcoming staff. Ordered two flat whites and an almond croissant. Although the ?? was hot, it was lacking in taste, not strong at all, plus it was served in a glass rather than a cup not ideal for a hot beverage. The croissant was far too sweet, even for me. The topping was more like a very sweet sugary paste and barely any almonds I left feeling quite sick. It's a bit expensive price wise, but I guess due to where it is, it's not surprising. I would recommend that if you visit this cafe to come early as it seems to be a popular place for the local people. I doubt that I would come again, but only because I prefer a much stronger coffee ?? and in a cup.

The coffee was the hottest thing I ever put in my mouth. I was not prepared and drank lava. They somehow made it hotter than boiling water. It?s impressive. Cute garden though

We stopped in Chew early for a coffee, the lady welcomed us in to the lush little cafe, she was just opening, but was so accommodating.
Made us some amazing coffee's. We sat out the back in the beautiful shaded garden. A brilliant spot worth a visit.
