Lovely layout in the store, and very good quality products. The butter head lettuce and spinach leaf salad I bought has stayed fresher than ones I have bought from other supermarkets.

Today I was looking forward to a treat with my dear friend at the cafe. Disappointed hardly gets there.
My friend asked for vegan food there was NOTHING and although my friend asked all the questions to workout if there was anything she could eat the lady who was being asked didn't once register my friend and instead talked to me I was the one who hadn't said a word? It was very odd.
I had a hot chocolate. There was thick sediment at the bottom of the cup and it was so sweet it made my eyes water. I also picked a very pale cherry and almond slice that had NO cherry in. I asked and got a refund.
Waitrose what are you thinking? This is an expensive shop, one I do use at times but the cafe is way, way below standard. I'll not be going back there anytime soon.
How on earth the little old dears I see eating there cope is beyond me I can only imagine they are so lonely they chose to eat here to get some relief from the loneliness it is clearly NOT to get any goodness from the food.

Nice store plenty of selection of produce. Bit hard to find, tucked away down a back road. Parking is OK considering the size of the store

Often too cold. In here to stay too long can get unusual bits and bobs fir cooking. Much better now with self serve tills installed

Some disgruntled staff working here but if you look past that. This is a wonderful supermarket with good selection and food options. I always love coming here after work to see what I discover. And the free coffee whenever to bring your own cup
