I had phoned ahead and notes were made as I have had bad experience before, from another VE store. After my visit and eye test today, I left with no glasses at all, certain team member was so unprofessional and unfriendly. Left making me feel so angry!! I took my prescription to Boots opticians where they were amazing, I bought 2 pairs of glasses from them, and will be using them in the future. Need to do much better with training your staff vision express!!!

I've switched to specsavers I felt this one guy in vision express, poor service, not very helpful at all , like he didn't want to be there let alone help Customers i put up with his rudeness for a year then I decided to go to specsavers they couldn't be more helpful unlike vision express other staff was very nice in vision express just that one Individual unhelpful and rude .

Had paid 3 months prior for a private eye test, recently I have been on job seekers, booked another appointment due to recent floaters and change in vision, I was then told I would have to pay privately although on NHS job seekers and would have no help towards my glasses, felt really humiliated especially as have been a paying private customer over the years. Very good service throughout by everyone I dealt with. The optometrist explained everything about my eye test and the changes to my prescription. The receptionist explained the options I had for glasses and the costs of each option, the range of frames available was almost overwhelming, so much so thT I had to come back a second time before making a final decision.

Really friendly optician, checking eyes patiently. I was about to get my new lenses to order. However to fit new lenses in frame which was purchased in Vision Express 2 years ago they CHARGE 70!!! Pounds. As Anastasia informed me.

I had a problem with the frame on my new specs. Took them back and explained and without hesitation they sent them off for my specs to be fixed. Couldn?t have been more helpful. Thank you.

Reasonable turn around from eye test to glasses being ready. However, lens on one pair had imperfections on arrival. Had to be sent off to be replaced, 12 days later- Arrived back even worse than before. Can only get a refund when the manager is there, which isn?t until mid week next week, which is not good for people who work. So I paid £100 for a pair of glasses on 30th September that have arrived twice, are unwearable and no telling when I?ll get that money back. Truly the worst service I?ve had in 25 31 years of wearing glasses.

Terrible customer service at Weston super mare branch. Appointments made for days when they are closed, we turned up to appointment and then found out. Then another appointment cancelled at last minute after we already travelled to store and paid for parking and fuel. Diabetic who has tried to get eyes tested with them since July. Gave up. They use locums who don't turn up. Go somewhere with a resident optician. Will not use again.

Very poor customer service. Been using Vision express for years but recently (6 months) they are not answering their phones, cancelling appointments with very long wait till the next available date. Poor delivery service for my contact lens and missed off the solutions so I had to buy them myself. Avoid this store until they have sorted out their staff issues and admit there is a problem!!

Having had glasses from another branch of Vision Express that had to be delivered by post during Covid, they are varifocals and were very off balance and needed adjusting. Whilst in Weston for a few days I took them into the store and had them fixed quickly and perfectly by a very helpful lady.. Brilliant service. Thank you.

The staff were more than helpful. However when I picked up new glasses and worn them for 36hrs, they were as blurry as my old pair. Therefore I had a full refund. I"m sorry it didn't work out

Awful customer service. Had an appointment booked 6 weeks ahead and they called me on the day to say they had no optician to see me and the earliest appointment is 5 weeks later. Called again today and told the optician is off sick and they need to cancel the appointment. Won?t be trying again.
