Cant get appointments, use the Ask My GP website and its offline 10mins after it opens and reception say "you need to call back tomorrow" trying to book a follow up appointment should be much easier!

Friendly and professional staff.

I rarely do reviews. But I think Milton Surgery are failing with care to some extent so feel the need to leave feedback. I have been going here for nearly 30 years and have to say that some of the recent booking processes are ridiculous. I understand there may be staff shortages etc. But when people need care, there should be a way of dealing with people still. The telephone landing message points out that anything urgent, should be directed to hospital. If you need an appointment you have to call at 8 in the morning. Appointments are usually gone before 9. If its not urgent, you are guided to use askmyGP. This is only open 8-8.30am. This is not good enough, im busy at at that time. When you are in, the staff are great, but getting there is difficult. I dread to think how anxious it must make the elderly feel.

Been registered with Milton surgery for a few years. Always there to help and assist whenever it?s needed. Had to use them a few times over the last month and their service is fantastic. Ask my gp works perfectly, the reception staff I?ve dealt with are very helpful and each doctor that I?ve dealt with has been friendly, caring, professional and efficient.!

Truly one of the worst doctors surgeries I've used.Firstly the doctors are great, most GPs are. However the administration of the surgery is terrible. The staff are rude and unable to deviate from a process slightly. The amount of times I've had prescriptions held up because they haven't been authorised a week after request, or they've been approved but not sent to the pharmacy. The Ernest is on you to liaise with the surgery and pharmacy. The problem is the prescription line is open for one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. For a working individual this is very difficult to do.In the five years of using them, nothing has changed.Additional, their IVR still references sickness due to COVID-19. It's possible that there's been a bit of it at the surgery, but it's more likely that this is a hangover from the pandemic times and they haven't changed it in at least a year.

The award for rudest gp certainly goes to milton surgery. Extremely rude patronising receptionists. The GPS are actually alright. They also refuse to engage with you unless you tell them the problem you're experiencing which makes me and I'm sure others extremely uncomfortable.

Honestly had the best experience booking appointments and speaking to the GP who was absolutely lovely.

What's the point of having askmygp if it's never on? dealing with an ongoing mental health issue and I can never get through to see or speak to a doctor. the doctors and nurses are mostly very good, helpful and sympathetic, when you can get through to them! often I don't need to see one, just to speak to/message someone to check on referrals etc, which is why askmygp should be accessible.

You can never see a Doctor, seems all the doctors are never at the surgery anymore listed but never at the surgery? Only 1 maybe 2 at most at this surgery now why?

I wanted to hand deliver a letter out-of-hours and was surprised to find no actual letterbox ?

To be honest best GP service in the locality. Always gets appointments with doctors or ANPs if we get into askmygp on time. Thanks for all the help and giving 5 stars is the least thing I could do. Keep up the good work NHS

Absolutely fantastic Dr's and nurses, helped me get my skin cancer diagnosed and treated as well as going through brain surgery for epilepsy, couldn't wish for better treatment.

The rudest receptionist I?ve ever come across. Laughing at my illness and injury making comments and proceeding to drop me from the books. Disgusting such a shame the NHS has come to this.

Could not fault service here. Hubby had suspected deep vein thrombosis. Rang surgery and thanks to the receptionist got an appointment that day. He saw a locum doctor who arranged him to get blood thinners. Then next day at 07.58 am Dr Chubb rang hubby to see if he had started taking the pills. The night before Dr Chubb had tried to contact my husband at 7pm unsuccessfully but sent him a text re prescription for pills etc. Also to arrange an ultrasound. Then day later had phone call re appointment for scan .Had scan locally the day after which was good and no dvt found . All this in the space of a few days. Well done Milton Surgery. That was a 12 hour shift for Dr Chubb.

Awful. They advocate Ask My GP, then switch it off within 10 minutes of opening for the rest of the day. Called for advice, met with "We're only dealing with emergencies." Why aren't emergencies being diverted to hospital???
