I came into subway today for lunch. It?s a very busy time for them and shows how popular this spot is for people. There was people eating in, taking away and there was uber / just eat orders.
It did not take long for the que to go down as everyone stayed efficient in their stations. ?
I have come here before and received good customer service however my review is based on what I have experienced today.
I was greeted by a lady on bread and meat.
She gave us a warm friendly smile and gave good customer service. I want to note however even though we asked for double meat she did not give us a proper ?scoop? she picked up the meat and knocked it out to the side. It looked like a half scoop twice- so I don?t think we got value for our money. Of course I understand not to over fill the scoop but I expect a nice even scoop of meat next time.
The next two lady?s also served us with a smile. I want to take the time to put here that they asked us ?any salad ?
I always thought to build a sub properly you ask ?any lettuce, cumber and tomato? first as this builds a sandwich in a way that makes it look beautiful. You guys are sandwich artists after all!
The cashier was a young lad who didn?t smile and clearly he didn?t want to be there. He didn?t ask if we were sitting in or taking away. He didn?t ask if we needed a bag or if we had a sub card.
I know there is a lot to ask and remember but he could try.
We sat in and the tables were all dirty. Not too pleased with the cleanliness even though the hygiene rating on the door is 5. Work on this guys - I know your busy but just take a minute to clean the tables.
We noticed a family had to move a tray out the way before they could sit down as none of the tables were clean and that was the only one left where someone had left their tray behind.
Overall this subway is good. Customer service is mostly good ? it?s can vary depending on who is behind the counter. I guess with a bit of training this could improve.
The sub was delivered fast and was tasty.
Would probably opt out of sitting in due to lack of hygiene but take away is great. ?
Keep up the good work but should work on improving hygiene because your shop front reflects your hygiene in the back to. People will wonder ?if it?s this messy in the shop what?s the food handling like in the back??

Ordered for pick up, got sub back and realised they had completely ignored what was requested in the sub and just put what they want in it!! Phoned them and they ignored the phone, useless! Also staff struggle to understand English absolute joke this place!!

Discusting... having a cat roam around inside and assoated cat hair inside a restaurant is a bad idea. Are all subways this bad? Or is it just the poor management in weston super mare allowing this?

This is one of the worst places iv ever ordered food when my order arrived it wasn?t what I ordered cold and processed meat not steak like they say not hot it was cold and nasty and they will not answer the phone so I can get a refund or the right food absolutely disgusting I ordered over £34 of the worst food iv ever had and it?s all gone in the bin and I can?t talk to anyone at the store

I find Subway to taste the same everywhere, so there's not much in the food front. However, I have received mixed customer service from different branches. My local one looks after me very well and there is specific sauces I like and they are happy to accommodate them on top of whatever I am ordering. I have been to Subway where they plainly refused to add different salad or sauces which leaves a bad taste to the brand.
I totally love the saver subs and hope they can add other types to it.

Ordered a sub from here, didn't taste too bad but gave me the squirts. Either the ingredients were bad, or the employees don't wash their hands

Never had so little chicken in a footlong from any other subway, it was basically bread! Also used a coupon for a side and the amount of chips in there was a joke about 4 mouth fulls if it?s a coupon or not don?t be stingy!

Got a chance to grab a coffee from this store, staff was not willing to attend costumers after waiting 5 minutes someone managed to take order and was very rude. After ordering asked for toilet they said tap is not working and same time they opened toilet for someone who was friend with staff member. Worst experience ever will never come back??
