I visited Seasalt the other day Friday - first fish n chips I?ve had for quite a while. The fish was perfectly cooked and still crispy by the time I got home. The chips were also well cooked and not mushy which can often be the case. I thoroughly enjoyed it, forgot my guilt in eating all the calories and won?t hesitate to do another take away next time I?m visiting my mum. Well done Seasalt!

i went with my family to this chip shop, the food is incredible. a young girl called rosie may served us, she was lovely. made great conversation. she was by far the more talkative and kind one of the two. making sure she gets orders correct will recommend

I had not written this review straight away as I should of, but last year in September 2024, I had a takeaway veggie burger with my cousin. When my cousin ordered at the restaurant to take away, she told them about my dairy allergy, they showed her the burger box and it was vegan. Brought the order home, and I started to eat it, and only afterwards noticed they dipped the burger in DAIRY BATTER???? Who does that after stating an allergy???? I ended up collapsing and needing 999 support and had 6 adrenaline shots ended up in a&e overnight. When my cousin in law rang to explain what had happened the manager fully denied what happened and wasn't until an employee in the background fo the phone call stated that we did come in and state dairy allergy. Tune had changed, and manager back tracked on calling my cousin a liar and apologised. I'm writing this as allergies need to be taken SERIOUSLY as it nearly cost my life. Allergies is not a joke.

Just about gave up looking for a halal option then spotted this gem! Owner was very helpful and the food was delicious! Chips are so light fluffy and tasty. Much better then anything I'd seen people eat by the beach

The best fish and chips in the area. Even if I'm at the beach, I'm driving here to get food. Consistently great and the guy running it is lovely. Tonight the food was 11/10. Crispy exterior and fluffy centre chips, and the perfect curry sauce. Banging.
