Phoned Majestic WSM to let them know we'd been delayed in picking up our order as we'd been away and now we weren't well. Two hours later got a knock on the door and our order had been delivered. Such a lovely surprise and great service!

Visited 18.6 and served by Katie. I am not a wine buff but was buying wine for a couples 45 wedding anniversary. On recommendation bought a red for him and a white for her, that's how they like it. Bought a double wine box and Katie dressed the bottle and box and added leaflet explaining what the qualities of the wine I had bought Excellent service with that added extra. I can safely say I have never had a bad wine from Majestic, quite the opposite. The staff are all so knowledgeable and friendly. If you have a special requirement, a food to match for example, they will have the perfect answer.

Sanctimonious, rude and condescending service, will avoid in future.Placed an order (37020873) for 10 bottles of wine and 5 of champagne totalling over £300 on Tuesday 26th Jan. Collection was to be from the Weston store.Received an email on the morning of Wednesday 27th advising that my order was ready for collection. So I called the store on the morning to advise I'd be there between 1.30 and 2pm, I left a message on their answering machine.Managing a retirement complex emergencies arise, and due to a death I ended up calling the store at 2.15 to apologise and ask when they they were open until and advising I'd be there at 6.30 (they confirmed they were open until 7). The female* I spoke to seemed most put out saying with attitude "and I've boxed it up all ready!"I duly arrived promptly at 6.30 to find that a Majestic Van was parked in the nearest disable space to the door (I possess a blue badge). In my opinion it is unacceptable for able bodied customers to park in disabled spaces but for a liveried company vehicle to (even in an empty car park) to park in such a space is absolutely reprehensible and displays a total contempt for the community.So I was not best pleased when I walked into the store, sanitised my hands and called out with a friendly 'Helloooo the house!' A voice from the back room answered me and a woman entered the shop.I advised of my name and that I was there t collect an order, the female a spoke to, said "it all ready for you, can you get a trolley?" (note no magic word?).She loaded the single box into the trolley from the back room and I knew straight away that the order was light and told her so, she ran through the printed order she had and it only came to 9 bottles. I then went out to the car to retrieve my mobile phone which had the full order and confirmed the order number which she was confirmed on the shop computer.I was at this point getting a little exasperated and said out loud, "considering I was the most decorated customer service person in the largest company in the UK, whenever I order anything it does t!ts up"The female then decided to retort with a sarcastic "So we are talking over each other now are we??"My response was a curt "I am the customer who's order is wrong so I have every right to talk over you, you do not have the right to talk over me"Majestic need to appreciate that sommelier/product training is one thing, but customer care training is another. It was painfully evident that the person I dealt with has none of the latter and believes the fact that she speaks well and knows her wines is good enough.Oh, and no apology for the mistake, only that it was an IT error, am still trying to figure out how this is my fault?* I would normally use the term 'lady' but I don't think I can use the termPS: I have undertaken multiple presentations at the House of Lords so am used to dealing with pomposity, but never have I experienced it in any retail outlet.PPS: I needed a drink when I got home!Update, I had 4 calls from the individual at the branch today, when I was on a conference call. I have no desire to speak to them so have now blocked the number. Majestic, is it part of your customer complaints policy to have the people being complained about contacting customers? I've never heard of such a thing. Please do not attempt to contact me by phone, email is absolutely fine...but NOT from the individual that offered me such bad service.

Ordered wine for my wifeâ??s birthday party. The manager was extremely helpful and offered good advice. We were able to taste some of the wines too. The wines for parties are on a sale or return basis so you can confidently over order knowing that your event wonâ??t run dry and you can get your money back on any bottles that remain unopened. Free glass and cooler hire too.

I attended a wine tasting event tonight. It was brilliant ; the staff were so welcoming and so knowledgeable that I felt at ease and purchased a few bottles with confidence. It was a wonderful opportunity to mix and meet other people. Majestic, thank you for a great evening.
