Went in after a long shift to get a coffee for my partner on my way home, ordered a large vanilla extra hot cappuccino. As a costa worker myself I was extremely disappointed at the standards I was met with. I was served by a tall brunette boy who took my order with no incentive, simply allowed me to scan my costa card and used my free drink without asking.
He proceeded over the the machine, didn?t purge the steam arm before or after - didn?t even wipe it. His tamping was messy, and his milk was burnt, meaning when I took the lid off my drink it looked like the below.
Extremely disappointed.
People use these free drinks to gain a treat when they can?t afford to pay for one.

Visited for a coffee with my wife. Unfortunately prices have gone sky high both for food and drinks. Also people are turning the cafe into an Internet base come library plugging in there lap tops and phones taking up tables for long period of time and reading books. Many times my wife who is disabled and I have had to go elsewhere as there are no seats available due to people using the cafe as a work station. We used to be regular customers but have now decided to take our custom elsewhere.I have brought this issue up many times in previous reviews or feedback requests yet nothing has ever been done. Time to now move on.
