Whilst making a purchase I was asked at the till if I was in the over 60s club ?. I was rather taken aback , I wouldn?t think this is company policy . I know you can sign up for extra loyalty card benefits but I don?t think you should be asked this question in front of other customers.

My wife, on crutches following surgery, tried to consult a pharmacist at Weston-super-Mare Boots this morning. A very painful rash had developed overnight, which was spreading.
She was abruptly advised that an appointment was required, soonest after 2.30pm, over 3 hours later.
We had already checked the website, which advertised a range of pharmacy consultation services, but not the need for appointments.
Not wishing to burden the local A&E on a Sunday, we luckily found a Morrisons Pharmacy, where the Pharmacist was only too happy to provide an immediate diagnosis. This only took a few minutes, where he fully explained his diagnosis and recommendations.
We therefore purchased the required medications from Morrisons and of course will not "bother" Boots Pharmacies again in future. Boots clearly lack empathy and have more interest in protocol than customer service.
Please check that you do not need an appointment with Boots before travelling - probably by phone, if they have time to answer, as the website is purely a sales pitch.

Went to the pharmacy on tue 25th feb as we are constantly told to speak to a pharmacist before bothering the doctors. Tried to ask pharmacist for advice on very swollen throat, flu symptoms ect. The female pharmacist was very rude towards me asked me why I have come to see her and not gone to a&e! Which I found shocking as this was not an emergency. She said she has other customers and prescriptions to attend to which are more important. She told me I couldn?t have cold and flu medicine because I?m on antidepressants (never heard this). The way she spoke to me was shocking especially when she could see that I was extremely poorly and just wanted advice. I left in tears! Luckily I spoke with my doctors and was seen, then found out I had an extremely high temperature and a severe case of tonsillitis.
I will never use this boots again after this rude woman definitely no customer service skills.

Went to get my prescription in my lunch break as this is the only time I can get away, and all of the pharmacy staff all go at the same time!! So pharmacy is shut from 1pm to 2pm! So basically the pharmacy service is around the staff not the customers!! So if you can only go and get your prescription or see the pharmacist at this time then don?t bother going to Boots in Locking Castle. Why they can?t stagger their lunch break like any normal work place, I?ll never know!! ???

Pathetic and unprofessional perhaps the people behind the desk. Yes are a little bit stretched but some decent courtesy to customers and patience also learn some mental health training and be respectful of every single ones. Individual needs we are all human and all we?re asking for is our medication and some advice help if you don?t like the job you?re doing get out of it not our problem.

Would be a 0 if possible. Shocking service, miserable staff, always rude. Timescales not met and extremely fussy. Will avoid using on all occasions and will be swapping my pharmacist. I?ve used them 3 times and every time has been an issue. Avoid at any cost.
