A pretty cafe but average food and drinks

We arrived at the cafe at 2pm to order a cheese and tomato toasty and two plates so to share, and received a ham and cheese toasty as well that we did not not order, but we did get a refund. The filling was non excistant and tasteless, the tea was diabolical and warm not hot. So very disappointed won't be going again.

Waste of milk I asked for a flat white and the coffees where atrocious burnt milk for every drink the barista looks like she's on work experience not using a thermometer and I can't hear myself think over the milk screening for the torture to end.

Went in at 3.30pm, asked for a toasted tea cake, big bag of them on the side. Told they wouldn't do hot food at that time. Can understand not doing lunches etc but it's pretty normal for cafes to have a toaster they can use for tea cakes!

A nice little cafe with a selection of drinks, cakes, and other items. I had a luxury hot chocolate, which was delicious. I think there was more topping than drink, though! The cakes were nice, and the portion was just right.
There are steps up to the cafe. I didn't notice if there was any disabled access.
The cafe is quite cosy with plenty of tables and mismatched chairs.
Parking: There is minimal short stay street car parking nearby. However, there are a couple of long stay car parks with plenty of spaces about 10 minutes' walk away. The long stay car parks are pay by cash, app, or online and are quite cheap compared to other cities. We paid £6.50 for all day parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't see any access other than stairs. There isn't a lot of room between some of the tables in the cafe.

We stumbled upon this little cafe. It was raining and a bit gloomy outside and we needed a light lunch. We had toasted sandwiches which were good but not overwhelming. I would say they could have been tastier but that's personal I guess. The staff were very friendly though and chatty which was pleasant. The prices were reasonable so all in all, not bad.

Excellent for coffee, tea or a snack. Great views over the Bishop's Palace and Cathedral Green, very helpful and friendly staff, and a many cakes and sandwiches to choose from. Loyalty card with free coffee or tea for regular customers.

Food wasn?t brilliant. Dishes came out haphazardly and ended up having to wait 15 minutes or so for one of our party to be served. Hot chocolate came with the cream all melted down the side of the cup and onto the saucer making it very messy plus it didn?t particularly taste of anything. Wouldn?t come here again as the cafe in the square looks much better.

Don't get the gluten free cinnamon rolls. Claggy and leaden in the tum.
Fresh sandwiches lovely.

After walking around the cathedral it was a pleasure to call in here for a drink. As its name suggests it is upstairs but there's a lift if needed. We had the teacake and coffee special offer at £4. Very nice.
