Disappointed.I had picked 2 pairs of glasses i wanted and they put me off of them and wanted me to spend a lot of money on premium lenses and also prescription sunglasses.In the end I went to Boots and got two lovely pairs of glasses at a fraction of the price and also ready a lot quicker.

We went to Vision Express after a less than helpful experience at another local optician.The member of staff we spoke to was so helpful and polite.We collected the glasses a few days later and again the optician was polite , helpful and gave some good advise.The glasses were fine.We would strongly recommend Vision Express in Wells

Went to Vision Express (Wells) after problems with my prescription at another High St opticians.. When I collected my glasses there was still a slight issue but was asked to return, Michelle helped and advised with several different options, nothing was to much trouble and it is now sorted. All the staff were courteous and helpful during my visits. Will definitely recommend to others.Thanks again for your help Michelle.

I visited Vision Express in Wells for an eye test appointment. I was seen immediately by very friendly staff and the optician was great and explained everything in detail to me with some very interesting eye facts thrown in! I'll be going to pick out my glasses very soon and looking forward to it.

I and advised me on the was in need of a replacement pair of glasses.A very helpful lady helped and advised on the frames. They were measured and checked. I placed an order and told of the delivery time. This was then confirmed by e mail

Staff at the Wells branch (Lorraine in particular) went out of her way to locate a frame that was out of stock at my usual Cheltenham Vision Express store and was no longer being made. Within 24 hours I was contacted to say a frame had been located. Means my current lenses can be swapped into the identical frame that I damaged. Fabulous service! Many thanks indeed.

Very poor. Do not bother coming here. I arranged with the Bath branch to have a pair of glasses to be sent here to Wells, and that i'd get a phonecall when they had them. After a week or two, we asked in Wells and were told there'll be up to a 12 week wait on them. Today, 3 weeks into it, we popped in to ask about progress. The girl said there'd be a further 4-6 weeks wait on them. Since my current ones are so badly scratched and it's hard to wait, i looked at others. Both women stood there staring at us for the whole time i was trying on glasses, for some reason. (No work to do?). At the end, the other woman, in a very 'bitchy' manner, said the glasses had not even been ordered! She tried to blame the Bath branch for not sending my name and number to them, and she'd rang them a whole 2 times to try and get my number. The younger girl was just quiet while she said this. So we've wasted 3 weeks waiting, and were going to waste a futher 4-6 weeks, waiting on glasses they were telling us several times were coming, when all along they were'nt. And they couldnt be bothered to ring Bath 3 times to find out our number and tell us. (Yet told us they were coming, both times we'd popped in?!) Strange staff. Poor poor branch.
